i am a testament to stress will make you sick. I literally got diagnosed with an Autoimmune disease 4 years ago at 19 lol. And it was definitely out of stress! So glad I'm now out of that environment which was sadly my home..

Oh most definitely, I had to break away from friends who’d gas me but then also diss me.. didn’t help they were Instagram obbession, heck we couldn’t even go to the same place twice on holidays… Long story short, nothing I do myself more, going to the gym keeping my things in check, saying no to things I don’t want to do. I feel great. ❤️

Its hard when youre one whose naturally kind hearted- to be selfish is not an easy thing however life lessons taught me to keep balanced. Today im very kind however there are times i must be firm so that others are not overstepping boundaries.

I feel safe coming to your channel, I knew it wasn't a coincidence. I've been through alot this year just because I'm not only blessed with beauty on the outside but on the inside too. I really had to stop being a people pleaser for real. Thanks God and God bless you cause this is some real knowledge.

28:05 Oh my goodness, I used to be the same way! Where I would notice people who seemed anxious or alone with little to no friends, and would try to help them. But I learned the hard way that a lot of those seemingly victimized people are actually vulnerable narcissists in disguise. They are pretty much impossible to spot until you know exactly the signs to look for. But I’m very quick to sense that in people now that I’ve had 2 previous housemates like that, each being at a different time. I am now very leery of women who are the victim in every story, self deprecating all the time, too obsessed with me upon first meeting me, or the embarrassingly insecure, timid/mousy type, ect. Huge red flags!🚩 I would rather deal with an honest enemy than a person like this. They put on an act (often for months) of being the sweetest person you’ve ever met, and then suddenly switch up on you out of nowhere after you’ve gotten close to them and told them your secrets. They’ll also often fake apologies or changed behavior, while meanwhile going behind your back and making up horrible things about you to other people close to you. And the scary part is that they seem so nice on the surface, people often believe them!

Church doesn't teach these facts of life but now having work related and narcissistic persons come into your life to disrupt, some people choose themselves to protect their energy, while still being authentic and seeking the proper connections with set boundaries and high standards.

I really like myself for being "beautiful" but i also want to be kind. I hate being unkind. I know I'm privileged being beautiful. Id prefer to make other people feel good about themselves.

Amazing video! Thank you for this. I am actually following your tips and learning so much from your videos. I took notes from your video called You Don't Respect Yourself, and re-reading them time to time. It helped me have the courage to speak up and be honest with some of the people in my life, set boundaries and isolate myself, and walk away in undesirable situations. When I started respecting myself more, i realized i had put myself in codependent friendships/relationships where I had no boundaries and was always nice, didnt say no because I thought thats what a "ride or die friend" is, but your videos are really opening my eyes.

I’m okay-ish at setting boundaries with individual people but I can’t help but feel so bad for being selfish at a larger scale. Like why should I just to have anything above the poverty line when millions of people are dying with less. I don’t have any money so I can’t even help anyone, but to get anything I have to play by this system. It sucks so bad 💔
