I'd like the club to still go in for a DM in January or failing that the summer! Gravenberch has been brilliant but for me if he were to play alongside a natural DM who's comfortable on the ball which Slot wants that would allow Gravenberch to get forward with a bit more freedom knowing he has a midfielder to offer him the assurance the space behind him will be covered. His ball carrying ability is fantastic, athletic, powerful & strong when travelling up the pitch with the ball at his feet.

I didn't really see that much of him last year to form an opinion tbh,but the games I've watched this year he's been syringe on the ball and his passes are crisp and precise ,he'll drive the ball at players to try and commit 2 or 3 players then pass it to a team mate in space in the final 3rd,also very efficient as a DM ,he's come along nicely under slot 🙂

Klopp played a compact system. Slot spreads the field so now he has all thay open space to make moves and find the passing lanes. Thats when your talent comes out. Players like Henderson would die in all that open field
