It happened to me at 53. I can get up every day at 3 and it’s easy. I make bigger mistakes and have bigger wins than ever, I am faster and stronger than ever. The Spark makes you learn more, have more Faith, have more fun, have more humility, and have more real love than ever. You don’t need to know how it’s going to work out you just know it’s going to. Im only 19 and I’ve lost a lot through out my years two grandparents one to alcohol and one to suicide I took that as a wake up call to not take life for granted to learn from mistakes and grow and do what makes me happy that life is so much more meaningful and powerful. It’s been a hard year losing them and losing myself and losing a girl I thought what was once everything to me but now I know what is everything to me and that’s me and my will to keep growing to find who I am and become that guy to become that man to become that person that gets up never gives up and keeps on going.

I'm tired of lived all my life always at the bottom, and this time I'm going to do something about it, I owe it to myself. I won't die wondering. I've been pushing for a year now. Having changed my life fully gives me an odd feeling. I've made things I never thought I could. I have faced challenges and still do every day. I have survived every obstacle in my life and I will survive this too.

I've had that spark happen a few times throughout my life. The important thing he left out though is you have to become habitual with the thing you're trying to build. Because the days you have no spark and no desire to succeed will vastly outnumber the days you do have that. And discipline and habit will help you keep going when you have zero motivation.

The reason some people are really motivated after a big low point, is that the grind and work is less of a pain than the big low. Most people are in this lull where they're not satisified, but they're not at that low yet. They still have their pillow, their blanket, their TV show. To get what you want, you don't need to go all the way down, but you need to take the suffering that comes from boring through and rejecting the break, rejecting the quick snack, rejecting the distraction so that you can sit until you.are.done for today. You wake up tomorrow, and you go hard again, because you.are.not.done.for.this.week. When you finally finish: After the exam, after the week of practice, after the months of constant routine, after the year or two of making something, that's when you deliver, produce, see the results - and that's when you can rest, if you even want to. You see, being on the grind, doing the thing you want to do, it's not just a chore, a bore, something you go through once, something you stick through - it's your new life. You live that life now. That is your every motivation, your every resolve, knowledge and will power for that thing alone, until you are done or YOU ARE SATISIFIED. Only then can you ask yourself this one thing: "Do I need anything else? Is it not enough, now?" You will not die from pursuing your goals, so the pain is not dangerous as long as it stays in the expected location in your body.

Yes you are correct, this KZbin video is probably not the place where people will like your opinion. Especially in this day and age where everybody fetishes on this sigma grindset thing. The people with mediocre but happy and fulfilled lives don't preach about it on KZbin so there is a huge selection bias. Me myself I'm pretty ambitious and can be a bit too much of a stoic and a workaholic. But a lot of people are perfectly happy the way you describe and we shouldn't feel so superior to them and hold this toxic attitude towards those. I don't really like the way we belittle the "average man". Besides, one of the most common regrets of people on their death beds is that they say they've worked too much. Ancient eastern wisdom is right, find the balance that suits you. And be aware that chasing recognition and external things isn't necessarily going to fix your self esteem if it's an internal problem. But if it makes you happy, that's awesome

Crazy how far people will go to justify their loneliness. Want some real advice? You're lonely. You're sad. You're struggling. Don't be afraid to reach out, the world isn't as harsh as it might seem to you today. This whole grindset idea in reality is just circle talk. "You don't need friends, grind". For what? The answer you're really thinking of is so that people will revere you. You want people to like you. You don't have to kill yourself on some nonsense grustle to attain that. Work out to feel good about yourself, sure. Work hard at work so you can feel secure, sure. But the whole idea that you have to do that to "earn" people liking you is a lie. You can't earn that through anything other than putting yourself out there, being open and vulnerable with people you hardly know and through trying to be a decent person, finding your place in the world. Look after yourselves champs.

Wouldn’t listen to you either. His track record has nothing to do with his achievements. Other than the USADA drug testing with cocaine. He’s done more then you or me ever will just because someone does something wrong doesn’t mean he’s not worthy of giving out good advice

It looks like one of those DIY videos. Which one is it? Going "harder" despite seeing no results or waiting for a spark? I don't like that kind of videos. It says "be that guy" and at the same time "fuck fitting in". Make up your mind.
