i’ve been listening to your videos every night now for the past week and i can’t anything but thank you, you’ve made me realise so much but the most prominent thing for me is to get myself out there and show the world the side of me that i don’t want to show to the public eye

I’ve thought about how my life has been, I see others like me who are lonely and unstable on the inside and I realize I want to help desperately. I want to be the hero to them that I never had. It all comes back to realizing you’re never alone

you reminded me to remind myself that I’m still learning and it’s okay to realize that I didn’t act in a way that the most loving and kind version of myself would. I can learn to do better without blaming or shaming myself! I see where growth can happen and I will focus on that from here onwards.

I feel like the best way to look at this is that you have to learn to be your own home. To become both the older brother who can pick you up in difficult times, as well as the father who can constructively be critical of the shortcomings that are undeniably present, etc. Love the works, can't wait for more

So young and wise man. Took me 35 years to figure these things out and become completely happy with myself. Peace and self confidence through not caring what others think is a game changer. You're giving great advice, and I know you'll do great things in this world. Keep it up brother.

I'm almost at that point but I still have trouble with finding the balance between being my full authentic self and having empathy towards others. U got any tips? I feel like the empathy towards others I always had was a type of savior complex due to my past with my family, so I've been trying to fight that part within me for the past couple of years. Yet I still feel guilt whenever I am not the same person I was a couple of years ago because of the lowering of my empathy levels and putting myself first. Is the guilt and shame just a response from the view I had of myself those couple of years ago? Is it just my ego trying to convince me that I shouldn't have changed? Or is it because I should actually try to be a better person towards others? Thanks

I have recently started a totally different life, moved overseas, ditched my software engineering degree and became a flight attendant, soon to be a pilot student. Life has been happening so fast recently and it has been overwhelming me every now and then whenever i think about my future. Whenever I’m getting ready to go for a flight, i open your videos and listen to you like you’re a family member or a close friend talking to me. You make me feel some sense of belonging. You make me feel so seen and heard. Thank you so much. Your videos are saving me in many different ways. Keep doing whatever you’re doing because it’s working.

around 2:03, i think we need to become our own parent. like a (normal) parent, we must bring ourselves to focus on iur goals when we get sidetracked, we have to be there for ourselves whenever life aint lifeing, we have to push ourselves to follow the path that is for our greater good, sort of like how a parent tells/scolds their child to focus on its work when it gets distracted. anyways man. great video as always. lowk never got the attention span to warch yo videos but i been in a slump for a while so i needed this 🙏

You mentioned something about only keeping certain things to the people closet to you, you’re protecting your heart (maybe while you’re still navigating and processing something). This is healthy! Nothing wrong with it. It’s also important not to isolate and seek outside perspectives when necessary - and doing so with people you trust is one way to do that

Thank you 🙏🏽 I took so many notes 😅 and I’m hype that you’re on Spotify! I def searched Profound Pondering the other week so now I know why I didn’t find you. “Who we are is all we can be” reminds me to accept myself right now. I for sure focus on the end goal and get disappointed to the max because clearly each of my goals cannot be attained in just one step or one day. Being the person I wish I had means I would celebrate my steps taken and actually notice when I cross off a task on my list. Soak it in ☀️ instead of moving on the to next one so fast.

thank you for sharing this video, when you made the point at the end about being authentic & comfortable in your expression and interactions, that’s something I’m really trying to work on…but I realise at times i can struggle in coming across as my authentic self. I’m glad I can now recognise it afterwards in reflection but I feel so regretful and dwell a lot on times when I fall short and don’t act authentically. are there any actions or reminders you know of to help overcome this, esp the regret bc it doesn’t feel like a past version of me as I’m aware v soon after ?
