Just happen to see your comments on your husband as lately i notice this hymn and searching for a nicer version. I thus prayed a chaplet of Divine Mercy for him. A powerful prayer given by our lord entrusted to Saint Faustina. Before my mum died, i told her few times not to worry after she died and in purgatory, cos i will pray for her daily. Its a huge promise back esp. it does takes a lot of commitment. The reason i told her such was because she was very old at 85. Many ppl assume their loved ones already in heaven but what if they still in purgatory suffering ? She died on 29 March 2020 and since then i try to pray for her at 3pm and 3am daily. Sometimes i doze off while praying wee hours i thus repray again. Recently i undertake courses from 9am to 6pm i thus make up in the evening. Hope the lord accept them as if i prayed at 3. So far been praying for her 1400 +/- sets of Divine Mercy prayers. I will continue to do so daily hopefully as long as i am alive. Few months before my mum died, while she was preparing for dinner at kitchen basin, she ask me when they left ie my dad and her die, what should i do. Meaning how am i going to survive financially. I laugh and said God will take (good) care of me ! I then becime nervous. I seen alot of God miracles for me since 2003 but i not too sure how he would take care of me. My mum is the rock of our house since we were young. Thus by right after her death i should be desperate cos no one will help me. Infact none of her relatives bother to call to send me condolences after her death. Not a soul. Before her death we have a combine savings of $ 25 000. I felt very insecure cos the amount has been stagnant for several years back then. By now 2 years after her death it shld be decreasing. Instead our lord is good. It increases to $ 63 000. Another $12 300 i spent on cryptocurrency. I be getting another $7200 once i complete a 6 month course . Truely our lord take very good care of me and my dad. I need not worry about expenses nor meals as i extremely spendthrift and God provides. The lord provide $ opportunities every now and then. I welcome be it $ 10 or $7200 cos thats how i save up. Worse come to worse i could rent out my room. I love to pray for others. I have a list of ppl i pray for daily esp. those who are kind to me be it friends or strangers. Cos knowing God is all powerful he will help them someway somehow. This is the best i could do for them esp. knowing how life could be hard. I love praying esp for the dead as most often than not, nobody remember and pray for them esp. on daily basis. I simply list their names to God daily. Yes hopefully as long as i not on my dead bed. I do try to pray in advance as many as 1 week as i wary when crisis strike i may not pray for them. Strangely i notice God blesses me even more esp. things i desire but i didnt even ask the lord for them. Thus i am very grateful to God and i pray for even more people by adding them into my list. Reason not cos i hope to receive more blessings but simply cos i knew God hears my prayers and i thus i add more ppl to his care. I will never outdone God in generosity. Eg government gives us $1500 to study be it for a hobby or a skill. But i not willing to spend it just like that. I hope to get reimbursement (in cash) say $100 cos some educational providers charge $500 for a 2 day excel course. I dont want to benefit such providers 100%. Unfortunately i cant find any. Govt doesnt allow reimbursement too. I held on while others enthusiastically took courses. Then covid 19 strkes. Govt wary alot of people out of job. It thus offer $ 7200 for unemployed/ retrenced people who took 6 months of educational course. I paid $500 with that $1500 govt traing grant while govt paid $16 000 ++ for the rest of my course. Thus God is good. He is all powerful. Many of my neighbors next door, social workers, friendly police, priest, church mate ask me how we survive (financially). Cos my mum, my dad retired and i was caregiver to him. I laugh and God took care of us ! They ask not cos they want to help us but they very curious how we manage to get by. Only the friendly police and a neighbor offer to help in groceries. The lord blesses me in many ways. Thus let us seek God for refuge than rely on our own human strength. Ppl used to tell me God help those who help themselves i said nope ! God help those who lose hope and confidence. I am witness to that. God is infinite good. In God we trust in mother mary and st joseph i seek.

I have had such a tumultuous few months. The battle is raging from all directions for every part of my being then to be led to this song. Even now when I don’t understand anything that’s going on around me, my inner spirit man testified to Yahweh remaining as the vision of my heart. Remembering my beautiful precious niece who went home to be with her Saviour Jesus Christ today,, Feb 10 5 years ago. When the Lord took her home, i felt my heart ripped out of me I was so shattered - God gave me a vision of my beautiful niece in a white dress heading home to be with Jesus. She didn't look back and I felt He whisper to me that her work is done and she will receive her crown, and I must continue to live until its my time. Eveyrtime I mourn because I miss her so much, I also remember this vision and find comfort that I shall see her again.

Wow! I've long loved the Gettys and their music and songs, but I just today learned that Kristyn is the niece of John Lennox(!!). In fact, Lennox introduced the two! Lennox is on many KZbin entries in interviews and apologetic debates.
