Overall, I am glad that the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC/US is kept in a safe place. Remember that the statue was looted from SEA and sold to a collector for a few dollars.
This sculpture belongs to Cambodian (Cambodian standing shiva). If you look at a face very similar to Jeyavaraman the vii, hair shape, crown, clothing and sculpting style. No matter Thais or Cambodians receiving this amazing sculpture back, please respect each other 🇰🇭 🇹🇭

The document from the USA clearly stated that the sculpture was discovered in Thailand. So, it belongs to Thailand, NOT Cambodia. PLEASE READ THIS ONCE AGAIN "THE SCULPTURE WAS DISCOVERED IN THAILAND, NOT CAMBODIA". I'm wondering why Cambodia always claim everything from Thailand. To All Cambodians, Please respect your neighbouring countries.

@Ch-7 cambodia The Cambodians also stole several Thai words, Thai architecture. Several building in Cambodia were built using Thai style, because Cambodians stole and copy it.

@@konstantinospantelis9681 I think you should read again where it came from, in your report already said about this foreigner (Thai citizen) who falsified a lot of documents to bring Khmer status out of country. In documents including the Metropolitan Museum clearly said that it's from the Angkor era. The question is for you, why Thailand still wants to steal Cambodian property since early till today. Learning to respect can help you.

@@vlovea You definitely LISTEN and GO BACK to READ the document and reports carefully. Please do not show off your foolish among the people. The document and report clearly stated that the sculpture was dug from underground inside Thailand Kingdom. If it was dug in Cambodia, the Thais will never ever interested in this. The question is for you and all Cambodians, why you and your people always claim the properties and belonging discovered outside Cambodia? When the Cambodians see the ancient things, why they always claim that it belong to theirs. You should go back and study more about history, archeology, and culture of other countries. Most important thing, STOP claiming all things belongs to Cambodia, which is not true.
