Exactly. I use to stop and talk to some before back in the day. Not many but a several would actually talk. All I had to do was listen. No funny stuff, no money exchanged hands or left for her to pick up. No favors. Just a conversation or simply listening. It's simply letting them know someone wants to talk with them rather than abuse them. Because that's what it is. Heartbreaking stories. Someone abused them or abandoned them is the usual response. Having a meal with them and let them open up and get things off their chest. Let them feel loved and worthy.
