"I Can Hear Music" was released on the Beach Boys 1969 album 20/20 with Carl Wilson on lead vocals. As a single it peaked at #24 on the US charts and #10 on the UK charts.
In 1996, The Beach Boys re-recorded the song, with contemporary Christian singer Kathy Troccoli on lead vocals, for their country album Stars and Stripes Vol. 1. That recording was released as a single, and hit #16 on the US Adult Contemporary singles chart.

I can hear Carl - where is he? This was done before he became ill. Miss and love Carl.

It was before he died in 1998, but I think he was ill when this session took place. I love miss and him too. Brian was the brains and soul....Carl was the heart.

This is beautiful!! The Beach Boys enjoying themselves and just having some good fun!! Katht Triccoli is great with them! That's how this life is suppose to be!!!!!
