Beach camp

Not my original plan, but it was fun.

Allan just a suggestion. We had a gazebo that used to suffer with the gusts and so we took "fence paint" plastic buckets and filled them with stones burying the guy lines and pegs in the bucket. When we left to go home, empty the buckets and lightweights back in the car. :)

Yep that will work. Normally on the beach I just take some plastic bags and fill them with stones, but this camp was not planned.

This is a popular spot in the summer, most weekends you will be sharing it with about a dozen campers, still a pretty decent spot as long as you like company... Keep up the good work, really enjoy your videos

I keep a couple of empty sand bags in my tackle box just fill them and use that as the tie off point

Luxury. Back in my day, it was a cold hard van bed. Inflatable mattress ? No such luck. I used to wake up to a cold condensation dripping down the windows parking lot somewhere in the wilds of Devon ! Time to find the bakery or nearest Cafe to warm up and get some ballast in the stomach. Still, I was young, foolish and desperate to escape the drudgery of London town. Couldn't camp like that now, it would damn nearly kill me. With all due respect I could never stomach the pebble beaches of the south coast east of Hampshire. Eastbourne ! Where the British go to die. Brighton, less said the better. Anything east of Bournemouth is a tad to bleak for me. Hastings is ok though. If your planning an invasion.

I live a short walk from the beach and hardly ever go there. Looks nice on a good day, but most of the time its just wet and windy. 😂

Looks so grey, good that you don't just go out in perfect weather. I'm a bit of a fairweather camper nowadays, but l use to camp a lot in North Wales and Scotland so l had no choice..lol. ❤️

I go out most weekends, all year round. Prefer better weather though. 😂 Thanks for watching.
