Your videos always make me calm and appreciate the simple things in life. I’m starting to realize that simpler is better. Thank you for not bringing drama into these videos like so many KZbinrs do, but you instead bring nature’s beauty to us in all its glory. Hobbs is one lucky dog to be so well cared for by both of you. Best wishes from Florida. 🌴👍

Another great spot. Amazing how cool lake water will keep you cool for a couple hours. When I was a kid and when it was hot we always went to the lake to cool off before sunset. No A.C. of course in the house. It was too hot upstairs so my Brother and I slept in our screened in porch most of the summer. Great memories. Great to see Miss Kelly and you guys enjoying life. I have many of those Ryobi tools including a small blower that I sometimes use to clean things up.

The last time I was a Elephant Butte it happened to be July 4th weekend and there were hundreds of rigs set up by the water. All day the next day a half dozen 6x6 military trucks - Duce-and-a-halves and 5-tons - made money pulling RVs out of the sand and up the hill. I take it you guys didn't have that problem. One of my favorite things at NM state parks is the showers. No coins or tokens needed, just keep pushing the button every couple of minutes.

What a lovely spot - and a great view too. Seems like a bargain for the price. Oh golly, I need to dig down into the freezer - I think we have a pork loin somewhere. We really like it because it's tender and moist but lean as well as flavorful. Good idea. Hobbs has really taken to the camp life, hasn't he? It has to be good for him to move outdoors and get more active.

We stayed at Elephant Butte in early March. We parked on the beach looking towards the boat launch. It was beautiful a bit chilly and windy... not many people at the time. To bad they are getting rid of the annual park pass.
