If you're ever back at Kings Park that wall behind where you filmed the eternal flame is actually a whispering wall! If you & someone else each sit at one end & lean in close & whisper/talk quietly the sound travels & you can clearly hear each other! Just a cool little thing I do whenever I go & people look at me strange 😂 Loved the vlog!! Makes me proud to call Perth home! 🥰

perth liver here. we don't all live by the ocean. but at most, we're an hour from the ocean. and the sun sets in the west so every night is the best sunset you've ever seen over the the most beautiful ocean you've ever seen. so no matter what day you've had... you go to the beach at sunset. and you know everything is ok. thank you for capturing that. much love.

Wow! Seeing D dancing with her Dad with such a genuine, authentic smile on her face? Priceless. And though she certainly has the ability to do otherwise, seeing her dance so simply with her father was just SO heartwarming. She's the real deal, Joe. Hard to put into words but your vlogs always make me feel like I've shared an experience with you. You have a real talent for editing and storytelling and your vlogs are special because they seen to effortlessly package up a particular time, place or experience so that the viewer not only gets to share and understand what happened but also shares the emotion. This was another excellent example of just what can be achieved by an expert. The sunset sequence was beautiful and summed up perfectly the feeling of a chilled out evening by the sea with special people where memories are made. I know you have lots of exciting projects on the go Joe but don't forget you are also incredibly talented at something which so many others do badly, thank you for sharing your talent (and memories) with us

Nice vid, great editing, music and energy. The native plant enthusiast in me has to mention that the plants you called "Protea's" near the beginning are in fact Banksias :). Interestingly there are no Protea's in Australia, though there are many Banksia's and they belong to the same family as Protea's (confusingly called the Proteaceae family) :). The Banksia in your video is Banksia prionotes :).
