You could cast out a rod with a decent weight on it. So the surf doesn't push it around. Then fish On your side of that rod that way, if the cast over. No, snag on to your hookuous weight line and not mess up your fish.

Love the show Darcy , but I must say something. When you go to sushi restaurant fish they serve you has been frozen for 2 weeks min, I forget the temp, I believe it is below minus -10 C(deep freeze). That is what kills parasites and worms in the meat. You 2 should be very careful.
