Mate I don't want to worry you but I was diagnosed with a serious illness last year, the first symptom being an easily cracked rib. If you haven't already had it ask for a blood test and xray. I know this seems overkill but if I can stop even one person spending six months in hospital getting chemo like me last year I will get the word out there. Enough doom and gloom great channel!

Hi Gido, that thing you found on the beech (3:00) isn't a light... it's a picture tube from an old TV, cathode ray tube to be exact.

Lovely. South Coast WA in Summer. Love those Hessa's, they fry up beautifully with some lemon and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. 😋It's not always about the biggest fish. Thanks, Gido.

Source a good quality comfrey ointment (also known as bone knit) for the rib bone or cartilage damage. Speeds up healing and draws out bruising. Thanks for another great vid from my old stomping grounds! 👊

4:20 Some advice I have learned from greybeards and repeated it. if you are fishing creeks / estuaries like this. Bring a kayak and for the PB bream, sit over the deep spot at night (like 2 am, correct moon cycle etc). If you want Mulloway, come back here after massive rains and this creek breaches to the sea. Then sit about 50m offshore, on day 2. PS. Those were the laziest dolphins I've ever seen. Floating about in the warm shallows.

Great video as always mate! hopefully the recovery goes well and it doesn't turn into anything serious! Is there much dabbing at night in calmer waters i love doing it over here in South Aus, never really got a chance when we were living in Albany, But normally everything comes out at night and you can find crabs,squid,gar and all sorts at night and sometimes only in knee deep water would make an epic video!

@Gido's Fishing Adventures You should grab some underwater footage from time to time, Mate! Beautiful beach, nice white sand, but no underwater footage to see the life. Hope you're feeling a bit better form the busted ribs. Not being picky, just think it would enrich the content a little. I still want to take a trip over to Coober Pedy. I know that sounds kind of silly, but I want to dig up my own opel and they got the best. I'm a tradie, always busy. Thanks a lot, be safe! Cheers Mate! 👍✌

Do you carry Max Trax when you're off road, especially on sand? Awesome bits of kit imo and mine have saved me a couple of times already. I basically won't go onto a beach without them and a long handled shovel.
@okalov
@okalov 13 сағат бұрын
A few decent logs or sticks do nearly as good a job for free and without having to carry them around everywhere, and you shouldn't really need them at all if you have lowered your tire pressure and are reading the sand properly. I never used max Trax at all in cape york in many years.
@oldbloke204
@oldbloke204 13 сағат бұрын
@@okalov Good for you. The first time I got stuck, listened to someone I shouldn't have, there was no time or sticks to save my vehicle. Also reading the sand can be problematic if you aren't doing it the whole time. Some of us have jobs etc so off roading is a part time thing. Given the cost of a modern 4wd why wouldn't you have a few hundred bucks worth of recovery gear?
