I'm so glad for your videos esp the Beach House ones🥹 they just make a good song even better :) and Somewhere Tonight fits this movie so well. How the couple are happy but away from each other "somewhere in a ballroom tonight" reminds me of the last scene where we see Po-wing dancing but with someone else... "Empty floor shadows lancing" brings to mind the bathroom and cinema scene. Its so fitting!! Thanks for giving my Beach House loving soul such cool edits to obsess over XD

First of all thank you, glad you like my edits 💙 To celebrate the release of the "World of Wong Kar-wai" by Criterion collection (which contains 7 of his movies remastered in 4K), i've decided to do a 4K video for each movie (also re-editing from scratch the ones i already did). I'm not really sure if you're asking which his my favourite between his movies, or my favourite edit among the ones i did, so i'll reply to both questions 😅 My favourite Wong Kar-wai's movie is "In The Mood for Love", and my favourite edit is the one of "2046" (which will also be remastered in january✌️). ps: i don't know why, bu KZbin has put your comment in the spam section, luckily i found it 😅

We can say that what you do is a foretaste of what has in store for me 😁 2046 is the WKW film I haven't seen yet due to lack of time, which is why I reserve it for myself this month before I can watch your montage. For that reason, I think I would probably come back and show my support. I'm sure it must be fantastic!

so ive recently purchased the world of wong kar wai boxset, but some of the discs seemingly are defective! Ive reordered a replacement and those are having the same luck. Figured id reach out on this channel see if any other folks are suffering this fate and what yall maybe did :/ Also beautiful video like always. Your channel inspired me to purchase the set! :)

Yeah, sadly it seems that they haven't put that much effort/care in them as they should (seen how much they charge for it!) Send them back again, statistically third time's a charm 😅 Ps: which discs were defective? The same ones both times? Pps: if you follow the link i description you'll find it at 50% discount, so maybe you can give back the faulty one and buy it again for half the price ✌️
