I spent 2 months in Apia in the late 80s. I can't believe how much Apia has grown. I remember stay at the Valentine Parker hotel just at side of town. I loved your country and the most friendly people I've ever met Cheers from Canada thanks for posting this video

The last time ive been to Apia was in 1988 when i was 15. I was on vacation to Am Samoa and my familys church from Aua went on a malaga to Apia, and i was fortunate to go with them. We stayed at a run down hotel called The Harbourlight Hotel. I was wondering if you could get some footage of that hotel, if its still around...or footage of that spot. That would be nostalgic for me lol. Me and the guys from the the church went walking from the hotel to the Tusitala hotel and took picturea under the clock tower. Then a bunch of Wester Samoan guys jumped us in town. And on the day of our departure back to Am Samoa, those guys who jumped us came to the hotel to apologize to us. Memories right! Lol Thanks!

Im not 100% sure but I think the Harbourlight hotel was located at the empty lot here 8:59 before the Tokelau office. It closed down awhile ago and the building was cleared 2020.
