What kind of haircut do you have in this video???
@RenaCayari2 жыл бұрын
@@lizzmg6213 Ah, I totally missed this comment! My haircut is long layers all around with shorter layers in the front. The shorter layers frame my face and gives lots of volume when I style it while the longer layers give it a bit of movement in the back and lays a little flatter while maintaining thickness of the hair overall. Hope that helps

How long do your curls last without hairspray? Mine fall rt out right away, but if I try adding hairspray before curling, my hair smells like it's burning. A lower setting doesn't seem to give me a good curl. I notice using Hot Tools' curling iron doesn't help w/ frizz and on humid days, my hair loses style and frizzes like crazy! Any advice?

@RenaCayari3 жыл бұрын
Hi! It’s foilayage - highlights and balayage mixed. It's usually an ash blonde but not silvery ash just icy blonde because my hair tends to go warm blonde over time so that helps it from going too warm over time. The ashier blonde helps my hair neutralize to a beige blonde over time. (This is all coming from my hairdresser haha) Hope that helps.

Haha that's how i feel if I sleep with my hair even **slightly** wet. On another note, have you tried sleeping with a satin pillow case? I got an inexpensive one (~$15) at Winners, or Marshall's if you're in the U.S. It's really helped keep my hair more smooth and I don't wake up anymore with weird kinks in my hair.

How did you get your hair to have volume before curling? Did you round brush dry it?
@RenaCayari3 жыл бұрын
Hi Nicole. My hair is naturally on the thicker side but some things I do to make it look even thicker is: showering with my hair flipped over/upside down, and letting my hair air dry about 70%, then when blow drying, I'll do it upside down sometimes and flip my hair to one side when blow drying. I'm posting a hair care video in 2 weeks so I'll explain more there. Hope this helps for now.

Hi Tori, not a dumb question at all :) To avoid kinks, I curl in the direction of the curve of the clip, not against it. Sorry, a bit hard to explain, but I hope that makes sense. If you forward to the parts of the video where I'm turning the barrel, you may be able to see what I mean.
