Thank you for this video. I just bought a bike and had to assemble it together. This was the area I had the most difficulty with. The instructions given with the bike did not give a visual of this step. This was definitely a life saver. Peace

Thank you for being a good bike mechanic and an even better at explaining the details to those of us who are handy but not bike competent. Thanks to you my sons Christmas present will be delivered on time. Just a sidenote, it’s real easy to take bikes apart, like I did to paint his frame camouflage. But then, putting them back together is quite challenging. 😅

Thought he was going to add brakes to a cruiser, not adjust what is already there. (No fender + No pedal brake = Not a cruiser.)

Hi Peter, I'm having a hell of a time with my beach cruiser that ive put an E motor on. I didnt really know anything about what I was doing sooooo its been live and learn. However I'm stuck now. Ok when I took my back wheel off so I could put the wheel on that has the motor mounted on it my coaster brakes went away. The electric motor kit didnt come with brakes butvit did come with the hand levers to squeeze. I guess I wanna know if I just need to buy a regular hand brake kit or do beach cruisers need special ones? Please help me

The problem I have with this type of brake is that however you adjust it, it will always run itself unbalance so that one side is rubbing while other side had a huge gap, due to building up of dirt and grim in the brake pad lever pivots.

I have a question if you don't mind answering... I own a Lulu Schwin Cruiser with 7 speed gear, my rear breaks squeak like heck when I slow down not when I break completely only when I slow down and I apply the handbreak.. I've tried re-aligning the breaks like you have, it seems correct, but it still squeaks! how can I fix this? I heard mix reviews on using WD-40 or not, cleaning my wheels, but your bike is similar to mine, I would be much obliged if you can help me out with this.
