Beaches Resorts: Turks & Caicos or Negril?

Yes. Negril! I prefer the smaller and personal experience with the staff. It’s been 15 years since I been to Negril and they also had the Beaches Sandy Bay Property back then. I would love to return and visit Turks and Caicos next. 🎉

i've been to both.. i had more fun with turks and caicos since i had more memories with it even though i went to negril later.. it was crazy too negril i had a butler and everything and bigger room idk why i can't remember as much as i could with turks and caicos.. maybe it's because i had more fond memories like i was in a talent show? idk

I went to beaches in Jamaica orcho rios last year. 2022 I decided to make vacation a family tradition for every mothers day. Myself and my three kids. Right now I’m Looking into Turks for 2025 may. Have you and ur family visited coconut bay resort in Saint Lucia? U should check it out. I’m either gonna go there next or Turks and Caicos.

There is an airport now in Ocho Rios which shortens transfer times a lot!

We typically vacation at Beaches Turks and Caicos . Another family asked us to go to Beaches Negril . Will we be disappointed in the water since we are used to Grace Bay Turks and Caicos ?

The water is beautiful in Jamaica. But it’s not the same as Turks. The beach is smaller (not as wide). I think the sand in Turks is a bit whiter so it makes the water look brighter. If you are going with another family, you will have a great time. It’s different though. I found it very relaxing. You just have to adjust your expectations. Think of it like a whole different resort experience.

Thanks for the video. Been to Beaches Turks 5 times. Currently at Beaches Turks and trying to decide if it's time to change Beaches resorts or brands.

It’s hard to beat Turks & Caicos. If you LOVE Turks, Negril may seem like a whole different brand to you. It’s a lot smaller. If you have kids, you can’t really beat Beaches. If you don’t have kids, I feel like there are so many options out there!

Hi and thanks for this video, great explanation of both properties. Question, where on Beaches T&C is the renovations taking place? In all villages or is it in certain villages. If so, was noise an issue? many thanks

The construction is near the Caribbean village. I have heard that the noise can be a problem. I have not personally been there since they started. My advice is to become a sandals select member. If you’ve booked the Caribbean section, ask them to please put you in a room away from the construction or even in a different village. Being a sandals select member will help with this :) We are 💯 on upgrades when we have visited! I think it’s because we are loyal sandals select members.

Yes they definitely do. You can actually meet with a chef upon arrival to discuss dietary needs and make a plan together.

What are your thoughts on how much 17 and 18 year old guys would enjoy it? I know it’s definitely geared more towards younger kids, but we plan to go with a couple teens next year for their graduation trip.

Which one are you planning to go to? If possible, can he get his scuba certification before going? Because scuba is included and would be a great adventure for a teenager! If you go to Negril, teens would probably love to go off property to ricks cafe and do cliff jumping.

Great video! We just got back from Beaches T&C and are planning to go to Negril next. We had a really great time in Turks but want the kiddos to see Jamaica. Very grate video and breakdown. The only thing I’ll reemphasize is that Turks does seem to cost a little more.
