I have never pulled the trigger on the beauty box either. Nothing seemed special enough to justify it. If it was as good as Allure I definitely would, but for now I will continue to check on it, but not sub unless it becomes more relevant to me ❤

My winter box was the best box ever. However , I was not able to pick every item with first box but I could with this one. I can’t remember everything I chose. I know I chose a T shirt , lip balm , sun screen , sunglasses , maybe the nail files and I don’t remember the last item I chose ( I think we get 6 )? I subscribed to beachly few years ago then stopped a couple years then came back. I am beyond ready for summer and being able to hike. So I chose to keep this subscription for a couple more seasons to lift me up. I’m currently living in Ohio where the sun never comes out. Super depressing. I’m planning on moving to SC hopefully this summer

I was curious about the beauty box…I haven’t seen anyone open it in a long time…I almost signed up for the Beachly box with the cozy sunny throw, cuz I thought it would look great in my littles room, but I just couldn’t justify buying a $100 box for 1 blanket and some ‘stuff’ that I wouldn’t use. Which kinda sucks cuz that blanket looked cozy ☀️

I can't totally remember what I chose but I know I chose the coverup dress, I loved the frame and the towel so I got one as an add on, I have a lot of sunscreen from Dermy Doc so I got the grocery bags even though I don't need them, the ball cap and I think the coozies only because I have a ton of lip balm. Oh, I got the anklet which I'm excited about. I used to wear them all the time so I'm happy to start again. They just make me feel very feminine and my ankles are probably the smallest part of me so I don't mind drawing attention to them and away from other areas. I feel like I got another add-on but I don't remember. They make you choose so far in advance that it's like a surprise box by the time I get it.

Hey Samantha, have you heard anything about the Beachly company buying the Alltrue subscription box? I heard that rumor, and if it’s true I would be comfortable resubscribing to Alltrue. Beachly seems like a reputable company. But I’m wary if it’s a different company that bought Alltrue.

Um, how to describe that merger of sorts (if it went through, I wasn't sure if it has finalized). There is a brand that owns several subscription boxes. They buy boxes for all sorts of reasons. That brand owns Beachly as of 2023 however the owner Kevin still runs it. That company is also the company that bought Alltrue. So Beachly doesn't own it however they are under the same umbrella so to speak. This might not be 100% accurate because I don't have insiders privy, but it is pretty dang close to how it all went down. They also have Birchbox I believe.

It’s a total bummer though because their pick options this season look great. And it looks like new stuff, not just old stock. But..not worth getting tangled up in that mess again. 🙁
