Learn how to make a sturdy pyramid pod using cute 'dimpled' triangles that will add strength to any design requiring peyote triangles. You can make the pod smaller or as large as you like simply by adding or subtracting additional rows to the triangle components.

Thank you @robinranallo8045. I hadn't thought of them that way but now I can't get it out of my head! Would you mind if I called them quilted triangles from now on? :)

Thank you! Thank you! The idea of the square stitch at the start and end of the triangle is a major eye-opener for me. I think this will be perfect when joining peyote together. I always found that the join was weaker than the rest. This will fix that. Thank you! I love learning something new.

Question, do you leave the thread ends on all eight triangles or just the last one?
@CrystalStarGems
@CrystalStarGems 2 ай бұрын
That's a good question Care. I think I explained that I do not end mine generally because I do not like to make the thread path at the increase beads without the extra bead. But if you do want to end your threads, I would recommend keeping three triangles with thread ends. You will lose one on each of the pyramid constructions - the thread will end at the point. So you will need a third to use to make the central join. I hope this makes sense?

What a lovely compliment Tina! I'm not sure I would class myself as a master beader but it's so lovely you think so. I hope you enjoy making your ornaments - I would love to see any different colour ways you choose. :)
