You are such a great teacher. Thank you. I remember watching my mother bead on her clothing when I was young. I loved watching her make beautiful items. My people are from Manitoulin Island. I am Ojibwe . It is wonderful to learn traditional skills. My mother taught us basic basket weaving when we were young. How to to harvest vines and make them into useful and beautiful items. We learned about different tannins to dye with. Played at sanding feathers. My grandfather taught me to track and about local flora and fauna on our farm in Michigan as a child. I learned to skin in 3rd grade. Thank you for helping me further my traditional skills and be able to pass them on to my daughter. Have a beautiful day, Thank you.

Thank you so much for your heart warming words. I too am Ojibwe, from the Manitoba/Ontario boarder. I am so happy to see that you learned so much from your elders and are continuing to learn so you can pass it down to the next generation. Miigwech and many blessings from the creator on you and your family.

I have finally found a teacher I can relate to. I've watched a lot of videos trying to learn and they're good, but they're not right for me. You are a great teacher. Thank you so much. I can't wait to get started. And what you were saying about the stiff felt, I had no idea what to use so I'm glad you explained that. Common sense told me the cloth needed to be tight so I was going to put it in an embroidery hoop. I am a new subscriber .
