Beautiful! Plus I love that you saved your necklace that you made years ago! They are both beautiful! Plus the beads you had left over in containers made a beautiful necklace! Thank you for sharing! I also appreciate how you show how to fix mistakes,to add on or make shorter!

This is my favorite project because I have never been able to afford expensive beads, but have managed to obtain tons of cheap beads from Walmart, mostly, and now have finally found an example of how to use up some of my stash. I can't afford to spend $50 dollars on beads just to get free shipping charges! And I'm not stupid enough to pay $5 to ship a $6 pack of beads. Every bead haul I've seen is generally focused on massive amount of money spent by the artist that I don't have to spend. Thank you for this wonderful idea! I love, love, love it!!!!!!

Thank you for your advice, You are the only one who has suggested keeping my first bead projects. Others have told me to take them apart and start over, If you could see them you would agree. I am going to keep 2 or 3 the rest I have taken apart ! Happy beading!
@beadedjewelrydiva5 жыл бұрын
Hi Cheryl, I'm glad you liked the suggestion! While I have taken apart some of my creations, they tend to be ones I made after I learned a technique (and I just want to scavenge the beads, LOL). But it's really gratifying to look back and see just how far you've come. I know you'll do well -- keep on beading! :)

Beautiful and I appreciate the demonstration; however, I did not see any explanation as to how you went from one piece of cord folded in half to having multiple strands. You just showed them already attached and beaded. Would you provide more detail on that? Did you cut more lengths of the same size and attach them in the same manner as the first? Thank you.
@beadedjewelrydiva6 жыл бұрын
Hi Patricia, yes, I did cut more and attach in the same manner. Sorry that I didn't explain that more clearly; I try to keep my videos to a reasonable length as much as I can, so as not to take up too much of people's time. Best wishes! :)

Great Tutorial Gail 😃👍 Not only is it beautiful, I loved how you said not to rip apart your first pieces of jewelry, because it truly does show you how far you've come in your beading journey! I like that tip! ☺ I was trying to visualize what the bracelet would look like with the other end caps that you didn't use.?.. Humm.. Lol... I don't have any of the cone Shaped end caps but the others I do. Would it be the exact same technique?..?... Again, thanks a bunch for sharing your beautiful bracelet with us!! Sending much 💞💖💙💜💞

I there a way of making a necklace like this?
@beadedjewelrydiva7 жыл бұрын
Hi Tina, sure! You can just make the strands longer. However, you may need to adjust it a tiny bit -- when a necklace lies against your neck, one side is just slightly longer than the other. (On a bracelet they are even.) But this pattern is very forgiving, so just try it and have fun! :D

Hi Susan, I am assuming you mean the bead stoppers -- the coiled wire that I used to prevent the beads from falling off while i was working. When I was in Joann's last week, I saw them at my local store. Otherwise, you can get them on Amazon as well. amzn.to/2Jutzcu

You cut at least three pieces of wire-folded each in half and 'locked' into place on the eye pin. If the length of the wires were the same, how could you have various lengths?
@beadedjewelrydiva9 жыл бұрын
+Joyce Rodgers Hi! That's a good question, and here is what happens; when braiding, the strands become "shorter' because they are no longer in a straight line -- they are twined around the other strands, which eats up length. This is most noticeable in the final set. Plus, I didn't measure on a ruler, but rather against each other, so that could be another discrepancy. ;)

I know what you mean I made a bracelet my first one years ago and I put it on my car mirror cause I am I've of those that have things hanging from there. I look T it from time to time and think boy it was good but I have learned so much since then. I am in amazement that some of it is paper beads I was just learning how to do those and it's still nice and looks like a real beads with the finish I put in it. so I wanted you to know that aren't the only one that saves the old stuff. I always makes the first one for me when I learn a new pattern. I am now doing Rainbow loom Bracelets on MadeWithLuvByLatrica on Instagram if you want to check some of them out. some aren't that impressive but I enjoy making them in my spare time. thank you for teaching us with your awesome talents for beads.
