I have a diamond painting kit with little screwtop containers that I use for beads. When I need to bead on the go, it's very convenient. The containers are also clear, so that I can easily see the contents. Each container is also securely held in place. I love that thing!

The containers can also be used for findings such as crimp beads or covers on the go.

In the small town I live in, there are few options. I buy the small ziplock baggies used for bringing meds on day trips and store the baggies in flat plastic boxes. These baggies will hold 50 8mm, 75 6mm, and 100 4mm beads. I like your storage method better, but my space is very limited. Thank you for your beginner videos, they have been very helpful...

Right on! That sounds like a great way of doing it, especially with limited space!

I have found that the black plastic trays used for velveteen inserts are the perfect size for bead tubes, I use them for seed/bugle storage.

Ooo! Nice!! I'll have to try that, as I have a few of those trays in old booth display bins!

I like clear boxes that can stack easily in my storage drawers. Each one has a different sticker soI can grab what im looking for quickly. I also have a bead organizer with drawers. I put the silicone stay-fresh packets you get with various products inside all metal bead and finding boxes/bags.

I have mostly shelving vs. drawer space so what works for me are various sized stacking containers with snap lids . All are clearly labeled using a small portable label maker. My small beads within the containers are in a combo of tubes (if they came that way) and clear resealable bags with as little air space as possible. I like that the bags lay flat and so are more compact though they do spring holes once in a while.

lol, the bead containers are rigid enough to do the trick, but these are the best cheap scissors, they cut through most anything I need them to!
@katscorner20916 ай бұрын
I prefer either the tictac style or baggies, the round bead containers dont stack as well as the others. I buy the large bags of seed beads and fill up the boxes as needed, the baggies can then be flattened down and stacked in a draw.
@backtoearthcreations6 ай бұрын
The round ones really don't stack well! Those big bags of seed beads are such a great deal!

I have my seed beads in about 8 diameter round countainers that screw onto each other. The bottom of one is the lid of the next one. I need to be able to get my fingers in to grab them.

@@backtoearthcreations I have an extensive collection of tibetan metal beads for beaded pens that didnt sell this spring, and now boxes of resin cabochon stones I made myself (want some?). I made a ridiculous amount of eyeballs LOL! And freshwater pearls coming in the mail... I usually like natural materials (I know resin doesnt qualify, but i MADE what I had, that's special). I am learning wire wrapping and have made ONE bracelet, several pendants (some look like owls) and now getting into rings. I am recovering from heart surgery so my garden -- the theme of my channel -- is really poor this year. I simply cant do anything physical, so I am turning to this in order to be able to do weekend market festivals starting in the fall. I seriously need intervention.
