Latricia, I just bought 4 more this past weekend at their holiday sale. They really are the best storage Ive found for beads and findings.

Hello Wendy, I bought 2 of those container from harbor freight and love it, I put my mixed beads in them and the rivolis and my montees. I also bought four of the yellow looking tackle boxes that has four sliding containers and I use those for my small beads and I have them label by colors. I’m a regular costumer at harbor freight l’ve bought all most all of the containers that they carry. Big fan of harbor freight. Deb from Colorado!!

I have these also, but I haven't figured out which beads I want to put in them. I don't mind scooping out my crystals from the same $1 tree shallow container like you use, so I've been undecided on what to put in them. I definitely like the delica idea though. Thanks for sharing.

These look like fantastic containers! I will have to look for these online since HF is an hr away. I have been using 2 different kinds of larger containers for bead storage--one with 32 spaces and another one where you adjust the size of each space. The store I get them at doesn't have one of the containers anymore and for the other one I think they maybe get in 8-10 containers a month and then when they're gone you have to wait for them to come back into stock. Hope you're having a great week! TFS! 💕

Wendy, beadifull knights has great bead storage solutions also but i did buy some of the HF containers also...they are great...watch her videos on bead storage...even though i know that beads should be stored by color, it would take me years to do that with my stash...any suggestions? TFS

Yes I actually have been using the same storage that she uses. Its a good system too! If I were you, Id start with just organizing one color at a time. Baby steps lol

How do you know what you are using for pricing? I don't see labels on anything other than overall generic. Just wondering, as it is something I struggle with. TFS

Hi Deb, Im not sure I understand your question? Are you asking how I price the items on my website?
@debhouckscraftycottage5 жыл бұрын
@@thisbeadedlife Sort of. I have an inventory system that calculates unit prices of items, so I can price my pieces more accurately. So, I store things with labels on that tells me what they are, where I got them, and the unit prices. Just wondering how others do that. I'd love to store my items differently.
@thisbeadedlife5 жыл бұрын
@@debhouckscraftycottage i keep a list of things and their prices. I have a list of all my findings and what i paid for them, a list of beads and what i paid for them. For.example, triangle shaped toggle clasps, pkg of 10, $4.99. Then when i make something, i pull out my lists and calculate. I have alot of things that i dont have accurate info on. Like when someone gives me beads or findings. Im that case, i honestly just price the item at what i think i would be willing to pay for it. Most people tell me i have my things priced too low but i try really hard to be fair. Im going to do a video soon on a craft room tour. It will show how i store everyrhing. I think pricing items is really tricky. It seems like if you price things as they truely should be figuring in your time and the cost of all the items used to create the jewelry, no one is willimg to pay that much. At least that has been my experience.
