You are both great fun and I can see that for someone brand new into this could find this very valuable, especially if they happen to reside somewhere in the world where they can order IMPRESS ART products. Man, I'm doing it myself, its hypnotic. IMPRESS ART products do seem very useful. Enthusiasm is the most important thing, and you guys have that in bundles to give out to others. Very cool. Love It.

Looks like the screw punch marred the blank?
@beadaholique3 жыл бұрын
The screw punch can give you clean edges, it just depends on how thick the metal is and how sharp the pin is. Ours probably could have used a replacement pin that day.

The one we use in the video is ImpressArt's previous model. They're both have a 1 pound brass head, so the main difference is look and feel. Great video! I have a question - are these pliers good for 2 mm brass (thikness)? Thank you!
@beadaholique3 жыл бұрын
2mm is a little too thick for the pliers we showed in this class, they list 18 gauge as their max thickness and that's about 1.2mm. Here is the strongest punch pliers we carry, they'll punch hardened metal up to 16 gauge, or 1.6mm thickness: beadaholique.com/products/eurotool-europower-punch-round-hole-punch-pliers-for-sheet-metal Brass is a moderately hard metal, so it might work with this tool, but you might be better off with a drill press

Can you show use how to set a small stone or glass bead or what ever?
@beadaholique3 жыл бұрын
Set onto one of those bracelet blanks you mean? That's a good idea, we haven't done much experimenting with that yet. With a small enough stone or glass cabochon you could glue it directly onto the bracelet after it's been curved and stamped, or place it in a small decorative setting and glue them both in place. That's where I'd start. Wire wrapping might also be an option, especially for the thinner bracelets. We have a few older projects that play around with the idea of wire wrapping beads onto metal cuffs. Here's a few examples of what you can do: beadaholique.com/collections/beading-projects/products/retired-wire-wrapped-tila-bead-cuff-bracelet beadaholique.com/collections/beading-projects/products/retired-all-that-glitters-is-gold-bangle
