The strand reducer is pretty secure yes. The Wildfire thread is very strong, and it is anchored at four places. If you are concerned, simply weave back around and go through them again.

You will want to use a beading needle. The eye is thinner to fit through the beads on multiple passes, and it will also have greater flexibility.

I have to answer this question with an "I think it will work". In principle it should be totally fine to use 11/0 seed beads instead of delicas. My only concern is that delicas are narrower then most seed beads so they don't take up as much room on the top of that tila bead and I worry that seed beads might be too wide. I would just experiment a little. If you do use seed beads, make sure to use uniform ones such as Tohos, I would not use Czech seed beads for this project. www.beadaholique.com/c-62686-toho-beads.aspx?KZbin&

These are Miyuki Delicas size 11/0s NOT Miyuki 11/0 seed beads!! Please when teaching, make sure you describe the right beads, it can be very confusing to new beaders especially when they end up with the wrong beads and the design looks different too

Sue Peart, she DOES identify them as delicas at the beginning of the video. Also, if you went to their website you'd see a list of the supplies. And, plain old 11/0 seed beads would be fine for this project. So ease up and be grateful that you're getting a free lesson.
