Nice trick using the pliers to hold the needle when pulling the beads down onto your yarn or cord. Wish I'd known that when I was making that skull bracelet. I learned quite a bit from watching this video.

I'm so glad my video is helpful! When you'd told me about your needles breaking, I thought; since I also had trouble gripping the needle tight enough to go through the thicker yarn, well then, this solves two problems!

I see this tutorial was posted 2 years ago but I still have to comment on how amazing it is. Your work is so detailed and meticulous and you explain everything so wonderfully. I've been crocheting for a few years now, just started making bracelets, and already want to add beads. I'm SO glad I came across this tutorial; it is the best! Will definitely be making this bracelet as soon as I get some beads and the beading needle. Thank you SO much for this tutorial!

@@cabinfevercrochet I had a bracelet that I made from #10 crochet cotton using a very small hook 2.25mm and beads that fit. I didn't like the way it finished so I took it apart! It was a pattern a sort of made up based on a Jayda InStitches pattern for an anklet. I hated to take it apart but it just wasn't going to make it the way it was, lol.

Hi Kathy and thank you! I make in a variety of lengths, using 7 to 7 1/4" (not incl. the button & loop closure) as an average size. They're stretchy and tend to fit most; but I suggest making some smaller to fit tiny wrists, such as yourself. I'm thrilled you want to make some to sell and hope they do really well for you! The only thing I ask is to give credit back to me, the designer, via my KZbin channel. Also, if you're curious, I sell mine for $18 ea., using a good quality yarn and the nice glass Czech or Japanese beads, as mentioned. 💗😃💗

I’ve tried four different types of Furls & the Odyssey are by far my favorite of Furls & of all hooks I’ve ever used! I plan to do a review & comparison sometime this year. Since you like metal hooks, you may love the Odyssey also. To me they are so worth it, with the reduced hand fatigue, fantastic stitch definition and how nicely the yarn glides…after I got used to the weight difference & shape. Hope that helps!

Hi! I got them from Fire Mountain Gems, at least 15 years ago and still going strong! I just googled, and they still carry them, plus quite a few other places, too. They’re made in Germany, by Lindstrom. The most awesome jewelry tools I’ve ever used; but quite pricey. These are $55 now; but so worth it if you do a lot of jewelry making. They’re spring-loaded, with adjustable tension, and really takes pressure & stress off your hand/fingers/joints; and allows for a lot more control over what you’re doing. Great for getting into tiny spaces and making metal flush with your work. I also have a pair of small round nose pliers, perfect for making loops. If you like good tools like I do, you’ll drool when you see all the different types and styles they have!! 😅 You can get replacement springs also. Have fun and thank you for watching! 💗

@cabinfevercrochet
@cabinfevercrochet 2 жыл бұрын
Is your button too close to the edge of your bracelet? Or is your button closure loop too small or too big? If too big, be sure to slip stitch to the base of your bracelet to keep it secure. You can go down a hook size if needed; so the loop stays tight or you can use a bigger button. Or add an extra chain to the loop if it's too tight.

@@maddyfogarty6175 Good Morning. Are you asking where I got the yarn? I'm not sure what you mean, the number for 3 and 4 weight yarn. Any smooth yarn in either weight will work. As long as your beads fit through it. You can find the Lion Brand 24/7 online. Direct from their website www.lionbrand.com, Amazon, www.joann.com. I also like Omega Yarns Sinfonia (another good mercerized cotton). Hobby Lobby has some, also at www.anniescatalog.com and other online stores.

@@lynng3421 You're very welcome and I thank you for watching!! Any #3 weight (not fuzz, low pill) should work; but I like mercerized cotton the best, for resiliency, strength and recovery. (Doesn't stretch out much.) Also, no pilling, wears really well and has a nice, slight sheen. I used it a lot for my summer baseball cap hats. 😃

Prova un filato più sottile? È possibile regolare la dimensione della lunghezza in base alle dimensioni. Difficile saperlo senza vederlo. Se ce l'hai fatta e troppo grande. Ho usato traduttore online! Spero che abbia senso! Grazie per la visione. 💗

Maybe zooming in a little and re-playing on a slower speed might help. 💗
