I made something similar with seed beads a long time ago, but in a simpler teardrop shape without a focal bead (which I really love in your design!), and with the addition of a second layer at the bottom of the teardrop. Used different color beads within the same color family for a graded color block/ombre look. You haven't had any beadweavers on the main Jewel School broadcast in quite some time. Or loomers for that matter. I know it must be more difficult to show, because of the tiny size of the beads, but it would be nice to see these areas of jewelery making featured again.

You can use any type of stringing materials as long at your seed bead fits onto it comfortably. You will need the big eye needle to spin the beads onto your thread, wire, etc.
