I made these beaded daisy chains as a young teen in 1967, with seven petals, like yours! This is the first video I've seen that shows how to make them with elastic thread, avoiding all the clasp and jump ring parts. I'm not even 2 minutes in, and I've already learned 3 new things! I've never seen a collapsible needle before, and I didn't know about stretching the thread ahead of beading. And I appreciate your recommendation for the type of beads to buy! So I know this video will be great. Thank you! ❤

Hi! Love this tutorial! How do I get all my flowers to lay straight? Whenever I put the necklace down you can see not all flowers are straight like some are turned up or flipped to the side and some are laying straight? Does this ever happen to you?

You are probably using beads that are not all the same size. Try using a higher quality seed bead. I think this will help the flowers lay flat.

Yes, absolutely. Just replace the stretch cord with Tigertail.

You will need a collapsible needle. We are using stretch cord not nylon cord. When you place the stretch cord in a collapsible needle you pull it down and it will remain snug.

Ugh… I hate when that happens. If you are using stretch cording then you are screwed. If you are using Fireline cording, you might be able to tie ends together, dab lightly with glue, let dry and trim ends. But I would start over and use that time as practice.

The idk what went wrong but the second flower got so messed up like i was using white as my dot in the middle and i did the exact same thing and it just was out of the whole circle so idk if it was the bead the string or ME lol 😂😂
