Kate, I noticed on that first silk wrap you only made 1 layer of wrapping. Can you have several layers before you pull the loop down??

oh this looks VERY cool! how sturdy is it though? I'm wanting to make a sort of permanent necklace that i never take off, would it be ok for that do you think? thank you very much for sharing this with us!
