Thanks for doing these! I am interested in learning the two needle beading (crow) style if you would have any knowledge of that style of beading that you would be willing to share. Also, a lot of the indigenous beading artists I follow talk about how they are very selective in sourcing the type of beads they use. I think I have heard them discuss beads being indigenous vs. non-indigenous beads for their work (maybe authentic vs mass produced beads). What are your thoughts around this and can you offer guidance in sourcing these beads (should we be supporting indigenous bead creators over the mass produced and, if so, how do we find them)? Hey thanks for watching! One of the two needle beading styles is called the applique stitch. We do have a video on our channel with these instructions. kzbin.info/www/bejne/l5u2oWiNlpp_mLM In general glass seed beads come from either Czech Republic or Japan. They are the most uniform and best in quality. Reproduction pieces may use antique beads from France. True indigenous beads would have been mostly shell beads such as Wampum or Dentalium. We do have all of the above mentioned beads. You can find them at www.wanderingbull.com.

Hi Molly. What the bead artists are referring to, (indigenous vs non-indigenous), is the SELLER of the beads. (They don't make them)

I have a vintage medallion and the lanyard has seen much better days. Is it possible to replace it. I know I wont be able to match the beads.

You may be able to do some repairs. Are there a lot of beads missing?

No beads missing just the cord cord to tie it around your neck is showing much wear and is starting to break in places. @@thewanderingbull9843
