I miss Beady Eye, i was pre teen around 2011-2014, but they were a great band. Liam, Gem, Andy and Chris definitely on my perspective kick the door and made the music they wanted. The only thing i miss on Liam in his solo career is his confidence in writing his own songs, most of them are co-writing with made me a bit far away from his recent music, i wish he played more Beady Eye tunes and the songs he writing on his Oasis days. Don't get me wrong i like Liam and his music, but everytime he call for a Oasis reunion it seems to me that his solo career is just "nothing" compare to the other bands he was involved. Also, very happy that Gem and Chris are playing with Noel and Andy come back to Ride. I expect that Liam's third record is entirely about his owns songs without these "songwriters" that i even record theirs names.

I love Beady Eye too - for me it's the perfect music for a Beatles junkie, as many of their songs, specifically on DGSS sound like they could fit on a 1968-1970 Beatles album.

There's one thing I think is better in Beady Eye than Oasis: It's not about the Gallagher brothers. Finally Andy and Gem talk too. I prefer Noel, didn't like BE's first album really, but I'm hoping the next album will be better. Liam's voice has gotten better now when I've listened to their Oasis covers.

I honestly hope to god they never reunite, it'll just be embarrassing. I'd really like to see them make up as brothers as family separations are never good for any of those involved but as for the music, I'd rather just listen to the old records and watch the old vids. Imagine if all 4 of The Beatles were still alive, would we really want to see them at their current ages all mop topped up and banging out the old hits live purely for the $$$?

They will - it's inevitable.Guitar bands have reduced in statute nowadays in favour of Hip-hop & rap that they will be welcomed with open arms - especially by the many fans who were too young/not alive when Oasis were around the first time.The comparison with the Stone roses is interesting: they both messed they fan base around with no-shows, band members leaving and even the rock press were sick to death of them by the time of THAT Reading festival performance (see youtube footage for further details).How soon will all depend on the brothers: Noels career is still gong strong whilst his younger brothers is almost flat-lined - he's working on a solo album apparently.Like you I kind of hope Noel does what his heroes Johnny Marr and Paul Weller have done - NEVER reform their original bands - although truth be told I would love to see the Smiths and the Jam reform.

I saw the Stone Roses back in 2013 - they were incredible and the clips here of their shows at Manchester Etihad stadium & New York this year show the band at their very best.You are probably right about nostalgia goggles although I never say them back in the late 1980's so I can't really compare them to what they were.

I like how Liam has stuck to his principles and kept it real. 'If nobody likes it who gives a fuck because it's the music I wanna make'. Whereas I think Noel has sold out a bit and gone a bit mainstream to get in the charts. This is why I prefer Liam to Noel. Plus I think Beady Eye make much better music.
