Our most prized apple tree toppled in the tornado that hit us in 2017. My husband planted a new one last year but we never touched the one that fell. It's horizontal but it still grows apples and the deer love it -because they can reach them!

Aha? I think leaving it there growing is a great idea! Blessed Deer 🙏 to have your thoughtfulness serve them fresh sweet and delicious apples straight off the 🌳! May all be well with you&your 👪! ✌

From your inspiration salvaging/collecting seedlings from paths etc. I now have the pleasure of a newly planted oak tree and an ash in my garden. I'm unable to get out but have asked friends to look out for them, secondly encouraged moving a couple tiny trees to areas with light and soil giving them chance to mature. Also have successfully had a Tree preservation order granted for a wonderful old monatary pine a person wanted to chop down, you seriously have helped emboldened me, thank you. Wonderful path you have created, your little patch of paradise is for me soothing and restorative whenever I am able to spend time watching your videos. Take care Collette and lovely Jack, wishing you a bountiful harvest for yourself and all life that share bealtaine, blessings of health,peace, happiness, wisdom and love.

Thank you, Collette. Love your videos and your mission. From you I have learned to be much more observant with details in my own garden. I wonder more, wander more and feel more one with it all. 💝

How wonderful. I’m viewing my time in my garden totally diffferently after finding you Colette. I talk to Mother Earth and view it all so differently now, it’s about giving now not controlling x
@janetjoyce38464 жыл бұрын
Exactly, me too Candy. Not having to keep it “tidy” for any NGS visitors now I am finding a different sort of love for my garden and letting my “wild” bits encroach more into the “not so wild” bits is great.

Janet Joyce yes Janet. I hope Colette knows the amazing change she’s bringing. It’s a wonderful new perspective isn’t it. I found two patches of nettles yesterday and was so happy as I wanted patches to leave. A year ago I’d have steamed in and ripped it all out without a thought for caterpillars and a healthy ecosystem x

Candy Morrigan ah, now then Candy, I’m one up on you there! I’ve always kept a patch of nettles for the caterpillars!!😇

I've snuck into that corner a few times but you have to be very careful. The plants will sweep you away into another place and time. That corner of Bealtaine is really wild and I loved it! =) I think it will be wonderful to have a new path along that edge.

I was such a selfish gardener until I started watching you. As I've mentioned before I have lived in a parsonage for several years in different places. I would create gardens only to have to leave and start over somewhere else. I never got to see the gardens come into their full capacity. I decided I wasn't going to put all that money and back breaking work into something that wouldn't be appreciated and I wouldn't get to enjoy. Thanks to you I have changed my thinking. I'm not planting just for me or people but for all life. From the bottom of my heart thank you. Blessings to you and dear Jack.

I enjoy all your videos . The woodland looked so brilliantly green . I hate removing barbed wire, no matter what I wear , I end up getting scratched by it. My arms are covered with tiny scars from when we cattle farmed and my husband and I did all the fencing , and everything else , by ourselves. Blessings.

Dear Colette , a few. years ago i tried to have a tidy garden . Today leaves 🍁 and sticks may remain . I even have daisy seeds strew across my meadow . I am looking for other plants 🌱 that can be walked over , they should also be in the meadow . The trees 🌳 and shrubs all receive an underplant with perennials . It already looks great . No piece of earth is without protection because i put on pine bark , because of the erosion . You are a good example of how to deal with Mother Earth . Thank you for the wonderful video. Jack is the best companion . Ich wish you a lot of rain ☔️ ☔️☔️Best regards and many hugs 🤗🤗🤗 to you my friend Jack and your loved ones from Conny Braun and cat 🐈 Felix from Germany. 🌎🙏🏼🤗🌳🌸🌺🐝🐕🌼🌻🕊🌷🐸🌲🐈🌏

A Shropshire Lad 2: Loveliest of trees, the cherry now BY A. E. HOUSMAN Loveliest of trees, the cherry now Is hung with bloom along the bough, And stands about the woodland ride Wearing white for Eastertide. Now, of my threescore years and ten, Twenty will not come again, And take from seventy springs a score, It only leaves me fifty more. And since to look at things in bloom Fifty springs are little room, About the woodlands I will go To see the cherry hung with snow.
