Beam Deflection using Formulas

Basic deflection calculations are performed using formulas given for simply supported beams. For sections that are combinations of multiple beam diagrams, you can solve the parts separately and then add them together to get total deflection.

How did you get 3.72 for point load answer - my calculator does not give that when inputting the numbers in the formula
