Sir, how to overcome "Column failure due to biaxial bending", it occured in corner -middle column, I designed it for 300x450 & kept on increasing size to overcome the biaxial bending failure and the column finally passed at 300 x 900. The analysis was done of structural designing software. Guidance please

Sir I have a doubt(6.2.5), in case depth of beam+ width of column is less than the X value , then that extra length what should we do? Ex . Depth of beam = 450mm, Width of column = 300mm Bar provided top main= 25mm (take Ld =50d) Then X = 1250+10*25-8*25 = 1.3m But available for us to provide = 0.30+0.45 = 0.75m Please comment sir.

Horizontal part will be less than 300 mm and rest extra length will go into the column below the bottom of beam level or otherwise bend it again into the beam namaste. Here again 8d for this 90 degree bend will be substracted.

Okay sir in case column is already casted till beam bottom(most of the case) , means U bend has to be given. Thank u soo much sir..❤..
