Beam Me Up! - 2024 Video 1

We are back for 2024! There's been an awful lot of engineering traffic this week so I've made that my focus for this video.
I've bounced a fair between between Ruskington and Grantham to try and catch everything, the highlight for me was the Network Rail Test train through Ruskington at night, it looked impressive topped and tailed with the 37s.
Not only that but we've had good variety with classes 66, 37, 69, 47, Tamper and Plasser & Theurer!

Thanks for a great video, the information on the beginning of each clip gives us oldies ample time to read it, and the still picture at the end of each clip is a lovely touch. My husband isn't up to going out spotting now, but he enjoys watching them on video.

James are you taking photos at the same time as videoing.

Hi Mike, yes I am, I’m using my iPhone mounted to my cameras hot shoe to shoot the video (with an external mic also mounted) and that allows me to use my camera for the stills images I take. My setup is: Nikon Z6ii, Nikon 70-200mm F2.8, Rode VideoMic NTG and iPhone 12 ProMax
