Malaysia government doesn't plan the pavement well for us to walk and cycle, that's why car is everywhere and traffic jam. They dont have a nice path for e scooter, so they ban it. Malaysia government be like: " I can't solve the problem, so I remove(ban) the problem!

It's so funny seeing Rory and Levy stressed out by the heat and the cars and whatnot, while Ray be like "God gives you legs for a reason, it's to walk" and chilling under aircond or sheltered areas

just walk peeps. with this malaysian weather we'd all be sweating regardless of mode of transportation. Plus, we can all benefit from the cost saving of living in KL by not using these electric scooters/bicycles. I will say tho, i do enjoy beam when im just cruising around my neighbourhood, but not as an alternative to walking/travelling around KL

This was fun to watch! I would just walk. The parking fees just don't make sense in KL if you're driving. Maybe you guys could compare all the ride hailing apps that are in the market now to see how they compete with abang Grab 😁

Interesting..i have to say for such a short journey, the Beam is very Costly at RM17, the E-Bike is about half of that RM7.50 which is also very Expensive in my opinion..i guess public transport might be about less than RM5 (LRT/MonoRail/Bus cheaper)..myself i commuter with Motorcycle, for that journey, the Motorcycle Fuel is like 50sen, Max RM1..but ofcoz Maintenance is on me but I own the bike, also need RoadTax RM2 Insurance less than RM200 (2009 110cc bike)..I believe Motorcycle will reach in the Shortest Time..but all in all, for me it comes down to Cost vs Time vs Safety..all those Transport (Beam/E-Bike/Public Transport/Motorcycle) have at least one lack in the 3 Categories (Cost vs Time vs Safety)..Motorcycle Cost & Time is a gain but Safety is Risky..Public Transport Cost & Safety is a gain but Time is not..but for Beam & E-Bike, maybe only gain in Time perhaps..Walking is a Good Form of Exercise & if u have the Time as in not Rushing as well as not going to work since will be Sweaty, Cost & Safety might be a gain but Time is not but lots of Short Cut for the pathway since Walking i guess..haha, all depends on Preferences..Thank you for this fun yet informative video guys 😃

During Friday and weekend evening until midnite, you will see alot of these electric scooter gangs manacing in KL city streets, it is very dangerous... We dont want another "Sam Ke Ting" incident happen again, later blame car drivers of negligence. The road in KL city is not suitable for bicycles, scooters etc.

if travel short distance around kl city center,option 1 is walking ,next by using a folding bike,at least you can carry around on public transportation. renting a bicycle to me is optional on where you wanna go /parking station area for returning those rental bicycle and last the price for rental

I wouldn't use both the bike or the scooter.. Its quite dangerous if u are riding on the road with cars along.. I love walking... I rather walk... Its more enjoyable. But guys it was fun and loved watching ur video.... The scooter.. The bike.. With all the braking 😁... Walking... Huffing and puffing and panting.. 😂👍❤️

As KL born person, I'd rather walk. Since KL drivers and motorcyclists are unpredictable, and KL streets are not cyclist friendly like Denmark. At least by walking I get to burn some calories and window shopping, and buy some kuih/drinks along the way 😉

Best mode is to ride on a unicycle. You can use along the walkways, the roads and bring into the trains and buses. And best of all, it really looks cool too! ❤❤

I was telling the team after the race that our ATV ride in Kg Kemensah was easier than riding the sidewalks in the Beam... --Rory

Yea. They counted by minute, so it charged me for about 33 mins (with some gloating time included). --Rory

@@soyacincautv It's actually not that far. They could have reached KLCC in 10 minutes if they knew the route.
@nitaichandrabanik8474 Жыл бұрын
Why you didn't mention clearly that you spent 30 mins, where it was reachable by 12-15 mins by scooter. And if you reach with 15 min the cost would be half of that.

The cyclist is not well experienced on KL City route. Let a proper KL City Bike Messenger on a traditional bike like VeloExpress or Grab take the challenge and they can beat the Beam Scooter in no time. Kudos for the Girl Walker and FYI Beam Scooter was long time banned by DBKL on KL City roads, not sure why it is still there.

If I walk, the heat would kill me. If I use beam, its gonna be very scary, and its stupid expensive. Bike also similarly scary tbh. So honestly I would just use Grab lmao
@justifyer242 жыл бұрын
yea beam is so expensive might as well grab lmao. It's fine to use as recreational i guess.

For context, when I Grabbed back after the race, it only cost RM8... --Rory
