People with a lot of plastic surgery on their faces all seem to have the same distinct facial characteristics, like the stretchy eyes and "joker" mouths. It's almost like they are a different species of human, like homo sapiens plasticus or something.

I'm in my mid-fifties now. Sure it's sad to see things going downhill a bit, but it happens to all of us. It's just about accepting the natural biological process and accepting the good and the bad that comes with that. When I see people of my age who've gone through cosmetic surgery, it makes me realise that I'd rather keep my dignity than ending up with a face that looks like I'd been in a car crash and gone through the windscreen.
@michaelpettersson4919
@michaelpettersson4919 3 жыл бұрын
It is for events like that car crash that plastic surgery can actually be a good idea, better save it for something like that if need be. Apperantly it was scores of battle damaged faces on soldiers that fought in WW1 that made plastic surgery a thing. For vanity changes thou it should only be used sparingly if at all.

RasulAllah said “Whoever is focused only on this world, Allah will confound his affairs and make him fear poverty constantly, and he will not get anything of this world except that which has been decreed for him. Whoever is focused on the Hereafter, Allah will settle his affairs for him and make him feel content with his lot, and his provision and worldly gains will undoubtedly come to him.” This maybe a hadis (islamic quote) but I believe even non-muslim can relate... Your goal should always be to make yourself at ease, without any regret, which in my case will probably be Islam, but for you, it might be living your life to the fullest or just enjoy the small things in life And that's where money comes, in order to make the most out of your life, you would probably need to use money, I hope this helps

Meg Ryan was so beautiful and likely would have aged beautifully and gracefully without plastic surgery. Her face is such a widely loved and memorable part of American cinematic history and it's kind of sad that when she's an old Hollywood star we won't be able to look back through her career and see the natural progression of her beauty and of that well known and much loved face. I wish that these mega rich people would spend more time and money helping others or trying to leave this planet in better shape, whether that be environmentally or culturally. There are an infinite number of ways these millionaires can create more good in the world if they spent more time worrying about what kind of people they are instead of what they look like.

The fact is that they forget that they are ACTORS. Thus they pretend to always be something or someone that they are not so much so that they lose contact with reality that they are just people like you and I. Fame and adoring attention is a powerful drug and they have become addicts to it. The fame is fleeting and they cling and claw to hold on to any piece of it that they can. Plastic surgery, drugs and alcohol addiction suck what resemblance of them that is left.

Im upper mid 50s now. only in the last 4 years (many personal issues under Covid itself) and suddenly I aged 10 years. I always had a youthful face. People thought I was still in Highschool when I was in my late 20s. I mean a Senior not a freshman but still. as a guy, that's not a blessing at a young age. but its great when you hit 30-40s. then Bam. the wrinkles coming in fast. LOL I'm glad I'm a man though. Women get really depressed over tis. I'm just going to grow a grey beard and keep growing it when I hit 60. we should embrace this.

I had a friend who was a cosmetic surgeon; now retired, in Southern California. I saw a number of his before and after pics. (These were photos anyone who visited his office could look at to see the kind of results he had delivered for previous patients.) What shocked me wasn't women in their forties or fifties who had major cosmetic surgery in an attempt to turn back the hands of time. What really surprised me was women in their mid to late twenties who did not get breast implants; they didn't need them, instead they had their breasts lifted; sometimes only an inch or even a little less than that. These photos didn't reveal the women's faces, but the I was told most of these women were models, exotic dancers, a few professional actresses; both porn and real actresses, and some escorts, who believed they needed that extra lift to keep up with younger competition, women in their late teens to early twenties. That is just so screwed up.

They absolutely should make sequel now. At first I imagined Kevin being the father that forgot his kid but there is another path to go where Kevin is still the one that are left home alone. Kevin could be a married man whose family make a trip without him. Here in Sweden we have word for the concept of when someone are temporarily turned into a bachelor again, not due to a divorce but due to the wife traveled away somewhere (maybe it's a business trip). Anyway, this is the time when the left at home husband regress to a bachelor's lifestile for a while complete with wild parties and other youth activities. This is then followed with a panicked attempt to clean up all the evidence before the wife retuns. This concept have been used in several swedish comedies and some music even.
