Naomi actually admitted another mistake about her freckles She was supposed to use an oil (which I guess would've prevented the Henna from settling too much into the skin) and instead used a hydration cream, so the Henna was even more sucked into her skin, which is why it was still super dark and stuck for ages At least thats what I remember from back then 😂

@Gernot669 ай бұрын
@@shenzishu as cream, but it's a reaction delayer, the final color in the skin isn't of the henna alone it's a result of an oxydation (similar to indigo). as i looked up for details (i wasn't sure if it's an oxydation or reduction) i noticed that it is very popular to add black hair dye to it since the henna leaves a red to dark brown color (btw my ex-wife is a maghreb). this dye stays longer and often damages the skin and can lead even to later allergic reaction with all matters containing this colorgroup. In europe up to 6% are allowed which i find strange since it's known that it damages the skin (but as long as applied to the hair there is no risk). Henna in itself seems not to be free from dangers which is somewhat new to me, on the other hand no surprise for the fabrics technician (dyer in a wider sense) of course you damage the skin with steady oxydation (if you do that often), apart from that the dye itself is a sort of poison. DAS ZEUG HEISSTFÄRBERWURZEL UND NICHT AUFDASGESICHTSCHMIERWURZEL! (it's called "dying root" and not "apply on face root") doing this on the whole body once in life for a marriage as it is supposed to be is certainly no problem. painting your hands (but leave out the palm) if you do that a couple of times a year i guess is neither problematic. --- i rather kept my red green and blue fingers as to wash them with an oxydation agent. *because bleaching gives you the crisp you always looked for* --- oxydative dye such as indigo (or indigosole the synthesized copy), you can oxydate and reduce nearly as much as you like, means if you reduce a oxydative color it doesn't fades it just changed the formula and it's not longer a visible color or has a different color, as soon as it oxydates again it turns to a color again. It's hard to get rid of such colors in a wrong color dyed fabrics are usually lost since the bleaching or reduction won't destroy the color it only changes the state, especially printings since that isn't uni.

When cooking fried rice with garlic, make sure ALL ingredients are ready before you saute the garlic. You only need it to turn light brown before you start adding all the other ingredients. And believe me it won't take more than 30 seconds for garlic to turn light brown. Beyond that, the garlic would burn to char real fast.

1, the garlic should be smaller, like 3mm in length type of smaller 2, garlic burns very fast, so you have to put the rice in quite early 3, the rice is so crunchy because it isnt even properly cooked (no seriously, buy a bag of rice from the local Asian supermarket, and eat the kernels home, it is also very crunchy), it doesnt have alot of water in it so you have to steam it before making it into fried rice (i dident nitpick about the other ingredients because it isnt really described in detail) im not the best at cooking, but even i know the basics of cooking rice related diches PS: Remember to have a nice day!

Actually, it's a common technique to put uncooked rice into oil (often together with onions) and fry it until it starts getting brown, which will give it a very special taste (it will start to taste like roasted nuts). However, later on you still need to put water into that mix, make sure it starts to boil, and finally let it all set until the rice soaked up the water. So she was not completely wrong, she just left out one very important step in the middle. And no, it's not the same as first cooking rice and then frying it as that gives you a different taste and consistency.
@ranzomisergamer87823 жыл бұрын
well u know pretty sure when i make fried rice u are supossed to use left over rice
@xcoder11223 жыл бұрын
@@ranzomisergamer8782 Yes, you can do that, but that gives you crispy rice that tastes like fried things typically do. If you first fry the rice and then cook it, it gives you normal rice (it won't be crispy, it has normal consistency of cooked rice) with a slightly different taste, as the rice got brown prior to cooking (hard to describe, but most people say it tastes if you had put nuts into the mix).

Speaking as someone who has a friend who uses henna a lot, I can confirm that in most scenarios, the henna will stay there for a good few days or even weeks in some cases. Although I can’t say she ever put it on her face. She mainly uses it for tattoos
@fionaroberts76583 жыл бұрын
There are multiple kinds of henna... the one normally used for freckles is lighter brown and it is quite pale if you don't let it set for very long. the one she's using is common for tattoos on dark-skinned individuals
@minacarkacer3 жыл бұрын
Yeah not sure why Naomi used that henna for her face 😂😂 i love her though lol
@abieb57202 жыл бұрын
Te narrator was pretty much wrong too. The henna she used is strong and has a lot of artificial color in it. Henna pigment can range from light orange, to dark brown to a deep red. The extremely black ones have harmful chemicals in them. The natural henna usually leaves a brown pigment, and can come off easily, after a simple wash. The one she used also doesn't show how henna works really. Generally the applied henna is a paste, and after some time it dries. When the dried henna is washed off, it leaves a brown pigment. Store bought henna is different from natural henna made from scratch.
@simplekid4328 Жыл бұрын
@@abieb5720 well what part of what he said was wrong?
@JustchillinginacouchАй бұрын
The real natural henna is a kind of leaf that when crushed and blended with water leaves a red hue (not a brown one) that can last more than a week depending on how much your hand gets in contact with water later on. If you use it on your nails and will stay until your nails grow out of it.

I wouldn't think removing nose hairs is the greatest of ideas, it might be a beauty standard but it's a defense mechanism that helps prevent stuff from getting in your nose
@VelkanAngels3 жыл бұрын
They're not great if they start growing long as one gets older and/or one has a slightly up-turned nose. You're right about their function of course. I cut off too much a few months back and because I'm allergic to dust and cat hair (which my nose hairs help protect against), I spent the next 2 days having water-like snot pouring out of my nose 24/7. Couldn't get anything done, cause it soaked through any paper I stuffed in my nose within 30 seconds and sleeping was a real problem, lol. So yeah, definitely don't overdo nose hair-removal if you have allergies.

I myself have two funny experience to share. On my first day of highschool I was waiting for the bus and I needed to throw away a piece of trash. I found a blue trash can that was waste high, as I put the trash inside, the bus pulled up and bumped me into the trash can I fell head first into the empty can. The janitor had cleaned it out that day and left it on the sidewalk. I was lucky there were others there they helped me out. I laughed so hard. I am handicapped so I can't walk very well so I have been in odd situations many times before. I have learned to laugh it off and keep going. I also knocked the head off a magician in the mall and it rolled out the door of the mall, several guard's chased it while my mom and I tried replacing the others wig. It was very funny. ☺️😂

Ah yes, my old nemesis, the garbage can... I did a head 1st dive in as well, but I was on a bike returning from the grocery store with bags of groceries on each side of the handle bars. A couple beautiful young ladies were across the road & 1 of them whistled at me, in a moment of heady misplaced pride, I threw a smile to them. Then I looked back to discover my bags tangled in the front wheel & I was going over the handle bars straight into the garbage can. Naturally the cute girls were now laughing at me. I demolished my collarbones, dislocated my shoulder, fractured a few ribs & moderate concussion... The stupidest part was my pride wouldn't let me admit I was hurt, so I got back on the bike & rode 1 handed home. Well at least tried, as soon as I was far enough away that no one could see me, I walked the bike the rest of the way. My arm /shoulder was way too messed up to withstand the pain of the vibration for very long on the bike. You have to be careful with these treacherous garbage cans, they are always sneaking around trying to eat people alive. Evil garbage cans! ;)

I’m not a hairdresser, but it’s safe to say if you are going to cut your hair, start with cutting less then cut more if needed, you can cut hair but obviously you can’t put it back on. Also if you bleach your hair, I’ve used a clear plastic disposable shower cap in the past, you can get them at Sally’s or any beauty supply store.

True story told to me by my sister: her co-worker's daughter decided she wanted to shave her eyebrows. After she shaved the brows she figured she would get in trouble by her parents and decided she was going to hide what she did. She cut some of her hair off her head, got a hot glue gun, and tried to hot glue her hair onto her brow area. She burned her skin.

She is actually an amazing cook, people just don't know how to cook and judge her due to their ignorance. Uncooked rice is healthier than cooked rice just like any other raw food is. I once served raw chicken and scalloped potatoes and nobody complained. Burning, I mean "cooking" food wasn't a thing until the advent of fire so how else would humans be alive today if we cooked food? People eat raw egg yolks, raw beef, raw fish, raw veggies, etc all the time. Hell, my mum used to make meatloaf with raw beef, then add a layer of ketchup mixed with brown sugar to the top and we'd all dig in and it was delicious. When you cook the beef it loses it's natural flavor and nutrients as well as good bacteria that your body needs. People that order burgers that are cooked drive me crazy, I had to quit dating because women would judge me for just eating beef raw out of the container.

I was very good at cutting my own hair. Back when I used to go to the same salon my mom did, I'd paid attention to what the stylist did, & asked questions. I picked a style I liked; & kept it virtually unchanged for over 30 years, since I'm a tomboy who never grew up, & never gave a damn about fashion! Trimming it was simply a matter of feeling with my fingers the right length, pinching the hair at the desired length, and cutting along my finger. I would cut it damp, so it obeyed. All standing in front of the bathroom sink, of course!

My family own a plumbing/mechanical"heating and air" company so I've done plumbing my whole life and in the guys defense a pedestal sink is one of the absolute worst to work on most of all in small bathrooms! While many have a door cut into the wall in the room behind the sink or near the sink in the bathroom. NEVER use chemicals especially acid based drain openers but if you have used them be sure to tell the plumber that they are in the line. Ivw seem liquid fire blind and burn many people. It also destroys many types of pipe like cast iron, clay tile and other types as well!

For the uncooked rice recipe: Bro I do that all the time, that's how you get a nutty taste to it, you're supossed to stirr it with ingredients such as dry chicken soup, garlic, etc. And add some oil, THEN add your usual amount of water and don't let it burn. Her faults were that CRAZY amount of garlic that were eventually incinerated and NOT adding water later.

Meh, we all do stupid stuff sometimes... When I was a kid I wanted bleached hair despite my religious nutcase family, since I had seen home hair dye kits & only knew laundry bleach as bleach... I came up with the brilliant idea to mix 1 to 1 shampoo & bleach, then put it all over my head & leave it for a hour or so... Until I couldn't stand the burning any more. My head was covered in 1st & 2nd degree burns, my hair mostly fell out over the next few days, it didn't bleach my hair for shit (except everywhere it dripped on), my whole head was so swollen, I couldn't open my eyes. So yeah, definitely don't try this at home... Its very embarrassing but at least I didn't film myself doing it for immortality of my stupidity.

I once vasolined my hair thinking it would hold up and be spiked, however it ended up a greasy mess, and took 12 washes to get out. LOL!!
@adambartlett1143 жыл бұрын
@@lizxu322 Yeah, it was definitely unpleasant. Unfortunately, it was not fully painful all at once, so I didn't know how badly it was going. Slowly building from irritation to minor pain to serious pain... It was an exponential pain curve, so from the time I knew I needed to get it off to actually getting it off, the pain got drastically worse. Luckily it was only the 1st few days that really hurt badly, though it took almost 2 weeks for most of pain to heal. It was almost 6 months before all the wounds healed enough not to hurt when stretching. It was nearly a year before my hair fully recovered &/or grew out. Otherwise, I didn't suffer any long term or permanent harm (aside my ego & certainty in my understanding of the meaning of what others say). We all make mistakes... When I was a kid (10-11), I had a straight edged, straight A type friend who decided to be a rebel 1 day. She wanted to try smoking weed & had heard people calling it grass. So she made a few bad assumptions, "stole" (her words) grass from under her dad's mower, dried, crushed & tried to roll it in toilet paper. After that failed, she called me to borrow rolling papers. I dropped them off, then used her bathroom, when I came out, she was already trying to light it without success. Without the smoke smell, seeing the plant matter, or otherwise knowing the background info, I just tried to show her how to light it properly. It wasn't until I got the 1st lungful of smoke, that I realized something was very wrong & got her to explain what she had done. Luckily for her, I had my own stuff & she was still able to enjoy her 1st (real) time, once we stopped laughing about it. I repeat, we all do/did stupid stuff, especially when we were kids. My friend was not even the only 1 to mix up grass clipping & weed, I've since met 4 others who did the same as kids. Making mistakes is not a bad thing (assuming it doesn't kill /destroy you outright). What matters is what you do after. Mistakes (not just our own) are the best teachers & the only stupid thing is not learning from them. As the saying goes: the smart learn from their own mistakes; while the wise learns from not just their own, but from all others, both previous & those not yet made. If even 1 person reads my post & learns from my mistake, it will have been worth the post.
