My mom works as a environmental consultant and one day she was working in a quarry because they’d found human remains, so after a quick call to the police they came over. The police advised to call the archaeologists and they came out, did some tests and told her it was a burial dating from somewhat near the Bronze Age.

That Sumerian ghostbuster tablet is seriously cool! Actually, so is the guy holding it. Iirc he's Dr Irving Finkle (or something very similar - for anyone interested, Tom Scott did a fascinating video with him). He's such a typical geek to look at but he's got a razor sharp mind and knows pretty much everything that is known about that time, including being able to read Sumerian and Akkadian cuneiform fluently. My jaw actually dropped on seeing the old painting, and did it again when you said how much it went for. Thanks for the brilliant bits of knowledge that you share, BA, yours is the only channel of this ilk that I sub to. The dad jokes are so bad they're actually funny!

They were pricey back then and they didn’t really make that many collectors copies like they do today with those types of games. Once when I was 11 a new girl started school with us and she really wanted to be friends with me I didn’t no why but she looked very familiar so after two days with us she invited me to her house also she used to wear black clothes all the time she used to wear black glasses and a black hoodie so when she invited me I was surprised but I agreed that evening I went to her house but when her mom came to pick me up I went inside her car but then a kind of smoke came which probably made me faint I woke up a while later and when I looked out of the window we were somewhere in a forest they got me out of the car and we went into a black cabin inside there were many sights saying stay out! We went into a room and I say many crosses and they were forcing me to say weird things until we heard police sirens I was so grateful the police arrested them and sent me home I never saw that girl again but it’s been 4 years now and I’m still so creeped out I know it sounds fake but I promise it 100% real Be amazed plz mention this story in ur video plz

I was very lucky to have worked for Mel Fishers' Treasure Salvors back in 1986. He had recently found the Nuestra Senora de Atocha sunk in 1622 off of Key West. We found a dozen of these. Unfortunately, you can't clean off the encrustation because there is very little of the actual sword left. Then I got to find two Astrolabes while diving off Havana, Cuba in twelve feet of water with Caribe Sub Aqua in 1998...

1:55 a well-made sword, like this one was likely to be, will have a pommel on the end to offset the weight of the blade. A good sword will seem to float when wielded by a well-trained individual. It's really, really cool to see it in person.

This is astonishing. I still wish I could visit some of these places and see this stuff in person. I myself am looking for a necklace that is quite old. Relating to the dragons. A golden amulet with 4 quarter gemstones for each of the elements set into it. to form a larger round gemstone. Decorated with serpent dragons coiling and entertwined around the gems as if seeming to squeeze and hold it together. The 2 dragons heads facing each other on the left and right side of the quarter gems. Hung from a golden chain. I don't know why, but the image of it is engrained deep into my mind and have been told I need to seek it out. As if it will answer some sort of question about myself. Call it myth or legend if you want, but the necklace as I can visualize it is quite beautiful and I would love to have it. I only wish I had hte art skill to draw it or better could find any info pertaining to it. All I have is what I can see when I close my eyes and an ominous voice telling me to seek out the necklace and all my questions will be answered. Added with strangers saying I need protection from some dark force that wants my mind. A pretty necklace like it that if it did turn out to be true could help protect me or help me understand what their talking about better. Would not be something I want to pass up.

I found something once, when I was about 6 or 7 and It was when we were planting a pine tree. as I was shoveling. I hit something rock solid at first I thought It was cmmpressed dirt chunks but actully It was an old shard of an vase but It was so old the surfuace was worn out.🙃
