Beamish Museum Fares Please Event - 7/5/23 -

On Sunday the 7th of May 2023, me and my dad travelled by car to the Beamish Museum for their "Fares Please" Event. In this video, we see the heritage buses and trams in operation and we also visit a number of attractions within the grounds of this impressive site.

@daves transport videos another great video but i do have to correct you on one 1 thing, lockeys was a west Auckland based company that was taken over by OK motor services in the early 80's, lockeys was never an east Kent based company

It appears then that I misread my source of information from the Flickr page I acquired it from down below. www.flickr.com/photos/tarquinius_superbus/8519248382 I'd seen that it was new to East Kent in 1959 but I didn't see the bit where it moved to West Auckland, so I had wrongly assumed Lockey's was based in East Kent. 😳 Thanks for your correction, much appreciated.
