Vulkan helps improve FPS by letting the GPU more work without waiting for the CPU that much. Since the GPU works more, it can produce more frames, but also consumes more power because of this, look at GPU utilization and then it makes sense. Vulkan is better because you can reduce the stutter, it lets you use vsync and limit the framerate without the game feeling less responsive.

Not really. Just some flickering when i recorded the vulkan part.
