that comment was one of my favorite suggestions from last video, glad you took it. funnily enough almost all of my testing while building this map was done using a road-spec classic pessima so it's fun to see how mileage may vary based on people's driving techniques.

That roll after the timesheet is why they have roll cages. Also, your video seems to have frequent quality drops - maybe you should set your VBR to be a bit more consistent or up the average bitrate a bit.

It reminds me of the compression tunnels from GTA, I think its the constantly changing textures that do it.

'Funnily' enough, another KZbinr I watch that makes BeamNG content (and sometimes some other racing/driving game content) has the exact same compression issues with his BeamNG videos, and has tried a lot to fix it, but nothing really ended up solving it. Seems to be something that BeamNG's textures and shading does in combination with KZbin's compression. Strange stuff. Not saying there's nothing that can be done, but I thought it was worth noting.

The problem is KZbin's 1080p bitrate... The easiest solution is to upload in 1440p (even if the video is only 1080p) since 1440p and 4k has the same bandwidth (in KZbin)

I was trying something different with this, and apparently not worked as intended. Normally i render these out in 4k (despite being only 1080p) to trick youtube into stop compressing them, but not everyones internet will run the video on the 4k setting. For this i rendered it out at 1080p with the bit rate set as high as the editing software would allow. For comparison sake the 4k version bitrate is 57137, this video is 54986. Basically i have to render these in 4k because youtube screws it otherwise. Of course i play the video on my computer absolutely fine, but it's the fun and games of youtube compression

FailRace The problem is not in the rendering process, the problem is KZbin's 1080p bandwidth... You should try uploading the video at 1440p since it has far better bitrate

Upload in 1440p to allow for a higher bitrate even though it may only be in 1080p just to help with the compression. Plz KZbin compression can ruin the look of a video. :)

All the sunbursts tend to have way too little rebound damping. Whenever you get 1 wheel in the air its going to flip the whole car after it comes dont and bounces back

I wish this was a real motorsport. One where production vehicles or the like are pitted against abusive tracks until they're destroyed. part of it is the drivers gotta abuse the vehicles and the engineers can look and see how to make vehicles tougher practically.
