Feels like I was watching a proper car chase movie from like the 70s or 80s. All the stunts and crashes seemed genuine which says a lot for todays stunt movies, that a game like this looks more real than CGI.

Great movie, man) At least I did not have the patience to make a great film. Good consistency, it looks nice. I liked the camera shake when cars crash. I can imagine how much time it took for the installation of the film - it's probably one of the most complex processes. Did you use a movie as a basis or invent everything yourself?

Oh thank you so much for the kind words! It took me more than two weeks to make this movie. I worked every day for at least 2-5 hours recording the footage (more info about that in description) It really is a complex process, because not only I had to turn AI on and off all the time and drive multiple cars myself, but also manipulate camera angles to make it look like all the cars are really there, when actually they are not (Beamng Drive is very demanding game, and I can use a limited number of cars without lag) Also I wanted it to be cinematic. To make it happen I had to add sound effects and not only music, like most Beamng Drive videos are done around the web. Just to put the right sounds for Dodge Charger took me quite some time, not to mention tire screech, crash and truck engine sounds. Also it took me a couple of days to find the music that could really make it feel like an action movie. Unlike most of other beamng videos I wanted mine to be fast action packed video with minimal slow motion effects, so most of the crashes were done in real time speed, which are more harder to do than in slo-mo. In the end I'm glad with the final result. I especially like the ending. It goes really well with music to create that anticipation on what's gonna happen next. I really hope people felt that way too. No I didn't use any movie as a basis, I invented most of the scenes myself, some happened randomly and some where altered to be more Hollywood like, like that fiat flipping over Kia, or Skoda and Audi crashing over a flipped Sunburst. The story was also scripted by me. I wanted it to be connected to the first Beamng video I made (chainreaction accident at matrix freeway), so I decided to put that news report about suspect who caused an accident and ran away. So that this chase would have a reason, rather than, oh this guy is speeding lets stop him and he runs away without a reason. One clip was inspired by Fast and Furious 2 where the red mustang gets run over by a truck trailer. I wanted it to happen in beamng, so I had to figure out how to make it, because the physics didn't worked they way I wanted it, so once again I manipulated the camera angles and used off screen ramps to actually jump over the car. And in final result, I think it looks like it really ran it over, like in the movie. I made a making of video of this movie if you want to check out how these crashes where done. Wow this response is really long, sorry about that :D

Some guy re-uploaded my beamng videos as "Best beamng videos" and he got like 1,500 views in a week and he has even less subscribers than me. I probably suck at taging my videos or something. So its a few years old now, but that was really cool man. That was so reminiscent of my childhood watching car chase movies like original Gone in 60, Smokey and the Bandit, Cannonball Run, and playing Driver. That was so good - lots of action, close calls for the (anti)hero, the truck(!). Textbook Hollywood car chase, 2 thumbs up.
