Well, it's always the sources fault for bad youtube compression. There are a few tutorials on which codecs and settings to use.

There's this "intersection" in my town where a single road has two roads that branch off of it; suburban and apollo. These roads intersect the main road at almost the same point to where it could become a legitimate, 4-way intersection. However, the people who built these roads were complete assholes and decided that an intersection would be way to easy, simple, and non-infuriating. Either that or the houses were built first and then the roads afterwards.
