Hey mate! Watch my new video - Realistic Crossroad Crashes in BeamNG Drive.
I'm starting a series of videos with realistic crashes in the game Beamng drive. In my videos you will see realistic traffic accidents resulting from reckless driving, such as dangerous overtaking or driving through red lights at intersections. I shoot with real cars, dash cams of the car and from different angles. Enjoy =)
BeamNG.drive is based on real-time, structural soft-body physics to simulate vehicles, which in the game consist of a soft body, girder assembly. The physics engine simulates a network of interconnected nodes and beams that form an invisible car frame with realistic weight and mass.

I like the way the dead and injured are indicated too. Nice touch. Now for even more realism, can we have survivors having a punch-up over who is at fault. Somehow, even the thought of orange crash-test dummies brawling is amusing.

Hey, I have a suggestion for a video. Would you be able to do a 'minor' car accidents video? Like, simple rear endings, stuff like that. It would still be interesting and fun to watch, but would be really realistic too, which is what I love and I'm sure many others love too. Just an idea! :D

It is actually worse when those small mistakes turn out to cost other people their lives. 5:58 here, where the truck drivers inability to keep distance claims the lives of the 2 occupants in the car that was about to turn! As a driver, you are obliged by law to always be able to stop if the car ahead of you stops! That means, keeping a lot more distance to the car ahead of you!

You need to record a route with script ai manager in the F11 editor and then play it back. There is documentation in the game manual on the official website)
