Story is that Kinison was sitting in the ditch after the wreck and was talking to someone nobody else could see. He said something like, "But I don't wanna go..." and then passed out and died.

The accident was actually on US 95, near mile marker 60. Additionally, the 17 year old had been drinking but was not legally intoxicated.
