All the talk at the start about not cheating the chicane but I don't think Neil technically stayed in the track limits on any pass through it anyways, bahaha. I know you guys meant blowing through the thing on the straightaway, but it still made me snicker a little bit. Back in the day my mother was actually a flagger on one of the turns for Watkins Glen during NASCAR races. She was the one who would be out there waiting for crashes to wave caution or stop flags back in the early nineties

the way y'all were ending it in the T1 wall was how Jimmy Johnson crashed when he was in Busch/Xfinity, luckily there was the tire barrier there.

the issue with the nascar mod is that the only setup available is for superspeedway racing, on road courses and mini speedways they have much better brakes and a hell of a lot more downforce, and surprisingly they also have a lot more horsepower once the restrictor plate is removed, but tbh with how much weight the brake coolers add (not sure if they still have those on the next gen cars) the returns for the additional horsepower isn't as much as it could be... (I'm not american and finding updates on the Stock Cars is kinda hard where I am since next to nobody watches it, so please correct me if I missed anything or got something wrong, still catching up on the races via youtube so please no spoilers)
