As soon as you kill Worldgorger Dragon, everything comes back in from exile. You need a way to lockdown the card by keeping it on the battlefield.

Actually if you kill Worldgorger Dragon just as it comes into play all permanents first that opponent will be exiled. It’s a major problem for players when they play the Worldgorger Dragon combo in decks such as Anje. It could win you the game, or it could really put you behind if someone has a Swords to Plowshares or some other instant kill spell. Look it up. Thanks for your comments! I'm kinda confused about Worldgorger dragon and its application in this deck. Wouldn't destroying it with a card like slaughter pact just cause its ltb effect to activate and bring the whole board back? I could see it working against token or counter decks but other than that not really

No. Actually when someone destroys WorldGorger Dragon during its ETB, it causes that players whole board to be exiled. That’s one thing that can be done. Another is to stop someone from Alpha Striking you and/or exiling all tokens an opponent has. I used WG Dragon to great effect one game. I was heads up with the last player and flipped WG Dragon on him. It got rid of his tokens and stopped him from overrunning me with a lot of creatures. I just took 7 from WG Dragon and gave myself another turn to attempt to find snd flip a more devastating creature onto him

There are so many creature removal spells in this deck that you can flip WG Dragon onto someone and exile their whole board, or do the old WG Dragon Animate Dead flicker trick and machine get infinite mana or machine gun your opponents to death.
