My simple plot for Terminator Dark fate: It's the middle of the war between humans and machines. Arnold is just a human ex-marine that is living his end of days through the rubble but Terminators are on to him to extract his DNA and create the T-800. (We don't take T3 in consideration) He is old, he is tired, and he tries to hide. He is devastated once he learns the story that some Terminators from the past looked like him, from his new retired cop friend played by an old Robert Patrick. It's just a matter of time 'till a terminator finds them. Once they are found they try to fight off a bulky non-skinned Terminator guerilla war style. They know that they cannot win. After a while they both get caught and get cloned. Patrick dies honorable death in order to free up Arnold. At the end, Arnold finds the resistance leader, John Connor (Edward Furlong) they form a bond because John feels he already knows Arnie and looks to him as an old father figure. They agree to send a T2 into the past to make sure a young John is protected. As a redemptive way Arnold proposes that they create the type of Terminator that can learn and understand human emotions and that could teach John to be a man and a leader, Arnold sacrifices himself like a hero and uploads a part of his consciousness onto the T-800 chip that is only activated when needed (by Sarah in the T2). This death scene should play as an homage to the death of the T-800 in T2. When the aparatus that sucks the life out of him turnes on with the human Arnie in the main seat, the Terminator theme starts in the background. In order to show the humanity in this installment, the Terminator soundtrack should all be played by an orchestra. This could be a blockbuster and movie that could evoke real emotions that could remain a classic for all time, if done correctly.

I´ve already see the movie and I can tell you a couple of things, first one: screw the critics, this movie is awesome, it doesn't matter that they keep reboting this saga, it still shine, not like the 2 (just because its an uncuestionable classic art) but I can tell you that it shines brigther than the first. Second: Having Linda Hamilton back it's just make the entire movie even gorgeous, she still have Sarah Connor in her soul, having Arnold is obviously worth it plus, the new guys here, both girls and the evil terminator just nailed it, their characters are awesome as Kyle Resse and T-1000,. And for the third one: the action scenes, the fights betwen the terminators are in my opinion the best in the entire franchise. Yes, indeed, I am a fan, a super fan but not a blind one, just give this movie a chance, is totally worth it.

@@Blitzo8390 So true. But it made a certain amount of sense to kill John. Didn't it? I mean, if you really wanna revitalize the franchise and pursue new ideas. You can't just keep going with sending machines back to kill him, him surviving, and expect to do these new things and have the story to come to a resolution. Which Cameron has said is the ultimate goal. And personally, I loved the beginning. I was like, "fuck yeah!" I also loved Mackenzie Davis as Grace. Too many people have been on the "feminator" band wagon man. Who cares that the heros are women? I love women! Turned me on to see Grace's augmented self kicking ass.

Trailer with the song matched very well. CGI looked good. Brought back OG Sarah thank god(I like Clarke but not as Sarah). They have an all female cast and haven’t shoved down our throat/made us praise them for it so far. Very important, reason why Ghostbusters(2016 and Oceans 8 where crap. No problem with all female casts but don’t build your entire film off the premise. The Descent is an excellent example of having an all female lead cast and it working out. All the characters were fleshed out in interesting ways and the story was well done. I hope this movie will become another example to hold up.

Sorry to say, but this movie......... KICK ASSES! I was really really not sure to go see it, since I'm a really big fan of Terminator and all the previous sequels left me disappointed. But this one is something else, McKanzie Davis is acting extremely good, and the whole story has many hidden aspect that you have to understand or guess, about the paradox of time travels. Ok is not perfection, but indeed is the best Terminator from 1995.... I will watch it again!
